I got a text to my escort mobile ( i think they got number of my aw profile) a few weeks back , saying "XWORK , better than adultwork , website starts in may , you keep 100% of your credits/earnings , join now get 30 credits for free!!.

At the time i looked on the web and found the site , well just an ad really that said they were going to launch in may. I thought it would be worth checking out at least , and maybe even joining up if there claims were true !! However , i never book marked the site , and now ive typed xwork , x-work , ect into the search engine , and its bringing up a load of stuff thats completley unrelated !!

Has anyone else had one of these texts , or know anything about this site ? Thanks Cleo XXX

 ive just had a read of the thread about x-work over at PLink , its a good forum over there , i go over for an odd read of the boards now n then ! It seems people are split 50/50 over this new site , and a lot of comparisons been made to AW , but i think ill give it a go anyway as its free to advertise n join so i suppose ive got nothing to loose ! One girl on that thread mentions AW keeping ?150 of yours , which is apparantly in there small legal print , ive never heard of that , but ive only ever advertised as an escort only up until now . Maybe they take ?150 if your earning from the direct cam shows? I dont know , theres also talk of XWORK keeping the first ?100 of your earnings/credits for cam shows ect , but seen as AW take a 30% cut , im sure it would work out the girls favour in the long run !!! I know one thing - AW doesnt seem to be too popular over at some of these other forums = which i can understand as you get a lot of pricks trying to email you off there !!

However - i cant complain as ive always done ok from it , i dont bother with paying for any of this "available today = ?5 , escort of the week = anything between ?250 and ?500 its an auction ! , or any other of there advertising things. The way i see it is if a client is looking for a girl in my area , then i come up in the search whether ive paid an extra fiver a day or not !! Ive only ever payed a pound a day to display my phone number , and my private photo gallery pays fpr that , as i get an average of ?10 a day in credits just from that , so at the end of an average week on there i will have about ?20/30. Which isnt bad as thats purley from pics as i dont do phone/webcam /ect yet !!

 So yes , my paying a quid for phone number display has paid for itself ( which i would highly recommend to any newbie as my business had a definite BIG increase when i changed from clients having to faff around emailing me for number to them been able to get it straight away !! Also one of the new search terms on AW is = " show me only matches with phone number " , so i can see guys wanting someone prety quick using that feature. Also my ?20/30 a week profit from pics i use to buy my escort gear from the aw sellers in there marketplace. It means you get full value for your credits also , as they dont take the 30% if you just earn from pics then spend in marketplace , if you want to save up and transfer the credits to cash ( which i did once before i had sussed out what would mean maximum profit for me - not AW !, ended up with ?40 out of ?60 ish!!) , then of course they take 30% .

So yes . the best way for me ( and others i hope will find this way usefull if your just starting out , thats why im waffling on so much ! I wish id known this stuff before i started escorting !) is to spend what i earn in AW credit on my toys , shoes , clothes ect . Another tip = a lot of girls on there sell good value escort lingerie , leg avenue ect. Without naming names some girls charge a MEGA  mark up on what they will be buying it for ( probably in bulk from american websites or ebay shops !) , where others sell the same branded gear so cheap i dont know how they make there own little cut !! Theres one girl on there who sells cheaper than the rest , i buy off her , it always arrives the next day - unlike some ebay sellers ! If anyone wants the link for her send me a PM !

So all in all i cant slate AW because my few pics have payed for me to advertise phone number and also buy all my leg av / pvc gear !! Ive got at least ?500 worth of shoes , uniforms ect so its done me pretty well , which is why i stick with it !! Well ive completley waffled on here , so i hope this info will be of use to someone !!

It is still in early days so does not appear to have much traffic but time will tell.

With regards to aw - personally I have never had problems of them retaining money.  I do webcam, phone chat and have photos and a few vids and think it is a great site.

OK so they take their cut but good luck to them - they are doing all the groundwork for us after all!

With regards to displaying my number - yes I also do this and really noticed a big boost in business when I started doing this as a lot of guys just prefer to take a number down and hear a voice before making a booking.

Sure it means that the feedback wont be increrased but hell the money comes in so who cares!!!

today I received an email from xwork.co.uk claiming they now get 4.5million hits a month. I guess they have sent it to all escorts on their spam database list. I am very angry that I have been on their site now and display my number and not had even 1 call. I have been running my own website for years now and built it to a respectable 150 visitors a day and around 600 hits daily and I have hundreds of quality backlinks. Now I was so angry at this scam claim that I checked their backlinks and they only have 70 backlinks! Seriously guys and girls ask any seo expert if someone with 70 backlinks would be getting more than 150,000 hits a day!!! The answer is NO, NO, NO. Even advertising on the biggest forums only gets a handful of hits to my site when I do it. I tried google adwords once and that did get extra hits but nothing more than a good classifieds site would bring me. To put this into perspective xwork are claiming nearly half as many hits per month as a fully blown established classifieds ad site like ukclassifieds.co.uk who claim 11 million hits a month but they have a whopping 3,164 backlinks which will generate small amounts of daily traffic to the main site (not 70 backlinks!)

I am NOT really a fan of adultwork.co.uk as it's getting too risque BUT at least I can believe their traffic claims because over the years they have sent me more than a few visitors, I get real visitors and calls from punternet.com punterlink.co.uk youadults.com blonde-escorts-uk.co.uk and having checked out the backlinks for each of these sites they run into many thousands so their traffic claims are credible. If xwork are claiming such figures then they are doing it by traffic generator machine or one of these cheap email traffic schemes where they offer to send a million hits for peanuts. They are simply hits and not real visitors.

Of course I am a realist and I also know that all the big boy sites are suffering traffic downturn at the moment because frankly the UK economy is a real mess and the guys who would previously come and see us now have no money and far too many cheap girls of all nationalities to choose from. I really do think though that someone should ask the big boys their views on this claim of 4.5million hits a month or at least saafe should ask an seo expert as we are all being taken as idiots by this sites claims!

I also have been on x work and when I first got the text and registered I was mildly excited and wondering how much business would come from them - but alas only nutty timewaster emails and serious timewasters they are!!!!

I have some photos on there but found that I could not easily upload pics like I do onto aw - I seem to have to shrink each photo before I can put it on there (have the others found this problem too) so in the end I just got fed up doing it and dont even have a fee paying gallery on there as I cannot be bothered to keep shrinking each picture in order to upload it.

So to be frank I have not even bothered loggin on recently or looking at the site.  I could easily tell there is not much happening on there  - perhaps aw has the monopoly as it seems to be so well known now and guys that are not even internet users are given the site name from other guys, friends etc.........

So, I also doubt their claim about many hits is true but again it is a shame as I always wish a new business well and I dont think it is getting the traffic it hoped for.
