All I did was direct any would be straight male escorts to Saafe. I would do the same with female newbies. Sorry to offend. If you see that as "spamming" then feel free to remove it or edit it to suit yourself, lol.
find out exactly how and why a man hoping to escort women for a living has more chance of plaiting fog, and better earning prospects on Jobseekers Allowance.

I've read all the various posts made by yourself and Sara1981 on this part of the forum and others and it's very confusing. Both of you seem on a mission and I don't want this forum drawn into whatever that mission is. Both of your posts started out inocuous enough but it's obvious now there's more to it than meets the eye.

Whatever spats are going on on other forums, please don't bring them to Saafe. I don't want them here. It's a shame, because if there was a safety message in there meant for male escorts, it's been diluted into the background with this back and forth between the two of you and is now lost. Any subsequent posts made by either of you on this same subject will be deleted.

my point for posting is to discuss male escorting

With whom? There are no genuine, WORKING, straight male escorts on here that I know of. And  I can only speak for myself here, but as far as I'm concerned the topic has been done to death on the board, and is boring me - pardon my French - absolutely f*cking shitless.

Cindy, your posts were not spam at all. I had just wondered how you knew this sara person (whose posts do seem a bit spammy).

I had found this forum via a google search on male escorts, and as the discussions are so rare, I jumped on this thread to discuss it. I really meant no harm.

My apologies to all.

Amy / Brandy! Don't let these weasels in!
No doubt this will be deleted. Men are reading these posts and saving themselves grief and money. Cindy is not on a mission, she can simply see through the scam as I can.
You may be bored of it Amy & Brandy, but my posts are to make men aware of a very deep, clever scam. Someone has already mentioned 'ideal escorts' as a scam, and these men losing ?100's need to know that these scammers who claim that male escorting is on a high are actually promoting 'ideal escorts' and others at conciergedumonde.com/links.htm under agencies and directories and scamming through other means.
Why would any woman want to follow the waffle at Brians twitter? Twitter.com/ProMaleEscort
It does however encourage men to pursue this silly dream. That is the whole idea.
We can be anyone we want to be on the internet, and we can set up numerous websites with fake whois details (they are never checked).
However isn't it strange that whenever I make others aware of this scam that a female client follows my message, just view this www.divinecaroline.com/22079/68956-male-escort-ice-cream-
"Excellent article! Just had my first experience with a paid companion. It was delicious, and I would definitely repeat. I found him here: www.conciergedumonde.com"

You will notice on a post made at saafe by daisy nectar that she too was looking for a male to hire.
Men see this waffle and actually think there is demand, then the ?$?'s roll in.
Don't try and do a poll on this site to find out if ex escorts hire men, fake profiles will be created throughout, creating more disillusioned men applying for the wonderful escort job.

Then post on Scamblog. That is what it is for.

There are already more posts on here about scam agencies and straight male escorts then we know what to do with, and the reason they keep cropping up is because they all eventually drop off the front page just as this one will. If these men cannot be bothered to do any sort of proper research (and the constantly appearing 'is xxxxx agency for real?' posts we have to wade through week in and week out demonstrates beyond doubt that they do not do this - there is a comprehensive Scam Agency article on the main site), then tough.

Personally, if I was going to chuck hundreds of pounds I couldn't really afford at something, I would be not only be extremely keen to find out far more about who was taking my money first, but I would also be capable of accepting responsibility for being a gullible twat if I then went ahead anyway. People who do not are eventually going to fall for any old crap going, whether it's the Nigerian lottery or Escortopia - we all know the expression about a fool and his money, and never was it more appropriate. I do agree that DaisyNectar's post was bollocks, but I'm no longer interested enough to either care, or to babysit anyone daft enough to hand over cash like this without bothering to investigate it first. And as for the spats I agree completely with Brandy - if you have to bicker, take it to PM, ffs.

I have read through this topic and, despite all of the rhetoric, cannot seem to find anything usefull about 'genuine' male escort agencies.

I HAVE looked at the Scam Agency article, and I agree, it Does give tips on what to look out for.

However....
Whilst looking for agencies, on here and punterlink, I find myself having to trawl through page after page of Agencies offering female escorts for women.
Yes... I do understand that, to find a genuine agency, this is the nature of the beast, but it would be helpfull if, just out of courtesy, information could be given about known reputable agencies.

Hi Tony and welcome.

Probably because we don't know of any. If you, as a wannabe male escort have searched and can't find agencies that cater to male escorts, there's little chance we as female (mostly independent) escorts know of any. Being a female escort and being a male one are two completely different ends of the escorting spectrum. Straight male escorts (the few that are out there) even have to charge less than we do, simply because of the lack of demand.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; there's very little call for straight male escorts. You won't get far and it wouldn't be a career I'd give up my daytime job over. If you're bi or gay, then you're in with a chance. If you're not, give up the dream.

If you're determined to be a male escort, then you might consider setting yourself up as an independent.

(I should keep this as a template.)

Actually, there was a post in this thread by someone who's familiar with the male escort scene which gives you all the information about genuine male escort agencies that you need.

As far as I know, the number of non-scam agencies for straight male escorts to choose between is currently zero.

The single exception I found gave up in mid-2007 - I suspect they spent far more time telling men that they didn't need more staff than talking to women clients for the five or six escorts they did have.

I wouldn't bother even trying to start up such an operation. Part of the problem is advertising: the scammers can outspend any non-scam because it is much, much easier to find optimistic gullible men willing to give you money than it is to find female clients. 20%, 25% or 30% of nothing (or not much) is nothing (or even less)!

Since you've already read that post and know that we don't know of any, what do you expect us to do? We can't give you a real live unicorn no matter how much you'd like one.

Oh em gee. Would it be possible to have a special thingy on this forum that automatically responds to any posts containing 'genuine' 'male' and 'escort' with a  "No" post? :D I'm honestly worried that we're all going to go mad.

Spoilsport :)

"They must exist, they must! Look, I can find all these websites telling me so! Ok, so they're lying about being able to provide one themselves, but they wouldn't be pretending unicorns exist if they don't, surely?"

When I first came across them, I had difficulty understanding why anyone would fall for the scams, but the level of belief in the fairy stories is immense.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Because guys think it's easy money and that if there's a call for female escorts, then it stands to reason that the same goes for males. So until they get their fingers burnt falling for scam agencies, guys will believe there's work out there for them. What, shag for money? Get in there! You can imagine the mindset.

Guess how many times I've had past clients say to me, "I'm really good aren't I? I should be an escort." And they're not joking.
