Getting started
« on: 10 May 2010, 09:27:30 am »
Hi I'm a newbie, and looking for a little advice.

I haven't started escorting yet but I'm thinking it best for me to start with an agency while I learn the ropes. Does anyone have any experience of agencies in Manchester? Is it best to give them a call rather than fill in the email forms? And if so, what sort of conversation can I expect to have? I guess this sounds like a dumb question but for me, the most nerve racking part of this for me is talking to someone on the phone!

Thanks guys x

Welcome to Saafe.  :) First off if you havent already done so, read the main website at least twice!
For agencies try looking on Punterlink.com or theres a Manchester based forum called The Little Black Book thats popular. They should have plenty of agencies advertising on there.
As regards how you approach them ie phone/recruitment form. I dont suppose it matters as you will have to talk to them at some point. If you feel more confident filling in the form initially thats what they are there for.
find out exactly how and why a man hoping to escort women for a living has more chance of plaiting fog, and better earning prospects on Jobseekers Allowance.

Thanks Cindy!

I've read through the website and spent every spare minute browsing post on the forum. Finally plucked up the courage to phone the agency today and was surprised at how easy it was! They seem very professional and I have an interview next week.

Actually quite excited now! Just have to decide what to wear etc.

Well done and wishing you loads of good luck for your interview! Not that you'll need it. ;D But hope all goes well - wear whatever you feel comfortable in, no need to go shopping madly; figure-accentuation is important but nothing revealing is necessary.

The only thing you need to worry about is keeping your health and safety a firm priority in your mind - there are plenty of agencies plus the lovely independent option after all so you don't need to put up with any nonsense. :) Make them answer all YOUR questions and evaluate their answers carefully!

Thanks for the advice!

I went to the agency tonight and everything went well, I feel comfortable with working for them and said I would start next week.

I wore a nice tight fitting dress with heels, which went down well and they said it would be perfect to wear for a client.  Well, when I got home I kicked the heels off and unzipped the dress...only the lining got stuck in the zip and wouldn't move! I've just spent the last half an hour trying to get the bloody thing off, and eventually had to take scissors to it. Imagine if I had worn it for a client, got there and hadn't even been able to get my kit off! Would only happen to me!
