Lubes

Which is the biggest best value lube I can buy ?
The store and chemist ones are so small and costly you get nothing much in it.

Tesco's own lube which they sell in metro and extra stores. It's £2.50 for 75ml and most importantly, feels very comfortable to use. It's quite thick, unscented and non irritating!

As an addition, it's in a blue wrapper, which is probably meant to minic the durex lube which is also good but more expensive.

I buy bulk packs of Liquid Silk from the Freedoms shop - I think a 3 pack of 250ml bottles is about 25 quid. It works out about the same as the Tesco one above pricewise, but three quarters of a litre lasts a good long while :D

I'd also recommend the Freedoms shop, or see if LoveHoney have offers on (they do, frequently).

I use Lubido Original Water Based lube from amazon. It's not crazy sticky, glides nicely and because it's water based it's good with condoms. I also find it evaporates quickly enough. For 2 x 250 ml bottles it's less than £10. Mines lasted me months

Hi

I am a more "mature" SW and have to use some lube. So I use baby oil which seems to work fine but i was wondering if there was anything I could use for the inside and also something more natural?  :) :)

You can't use baby oil as lube as it will degrade condoms and cause them to split  :FF

Buy some water-based lube, I prefer KJ Jelly, Liquid Silk or YES. I am also mature, had an early menopause and am now post-menopause). I am on hRT but still need a little help, so  use YES water-based vaginial moisturiser from time to time too.

I've experimented with lots of lubes. I find ID glide millennium the best. Its very individual, but if you've enjoyed (unsafe for condoms) baby oil, then this should suit you

This sort of ties in with my reply on your other thread...

If you do a search there are other threads on lubes, but yes, there are organic/natural ones available, like Yes. If you find a lot of clients do RO you can buy flavoured ones, but they're more likely to be synthetic/irritating. KY Jelly is medical grade and neutral so a good option, but may not be great if PIV penetration is prolonged. Silicone lubes are smoother/slicker and last longer.

It may also help to use a vaginal moisturiser like Vagisan or Replens overnight.

Avoid the flavoured lubes out of Ann Summers. Yucky and sticky.

Some good tips here. Must investigate.

I use coconut oil overnight about once a week.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

Durex do a Naturals one that’s water based (£9.99 on Love Honey). Flavoured ones always cause issues due to the sugar in them.
Baby oil will break condoms down, so I make sure I type in “lube+ latex safe” or something of that wording.
