London & Tantric Massage Parlour Help Please
« on: 13 September 2015, 10:46:50 pm »
Hello lovelies

So I have been looking into working at a parlour in London, but they seem to be 90% tantric. Now I have never done tantric, but as far as I know it is dousing yourself in oil & sliding all over eachother. To me this seem like a lot of hassle & mess, not to mention extra time clearing up & being personally available for another booking! This has put me off applying to any, as I just want to do the usual stuff. But then I was thinking that this whole tantric stuff might just be more about covering the fact that it is basically a parlour/brothel/establishment, a sort of modern take on the 'erotic massage'.  Can anyone please help & put the record straight as I am so confused!

The other query I have is the London parlour the whole scene seems a bit intimidating! Most sites seem to have pictures of models & though I am attractive enough though a complete short arse, I am so worried that I am out of my depth.  But then I know that there is every type of girl for every type of man, and that there is a reality that these pictures came with the site when they had it built kind of thing. But then I think how many girls want to work in London & how they can pick & choose. If it is usual in london for 'any' girl no matter her stats to be turned down numerous times before being taken on, then please let me know, as I am less likely to take it personally & steam on.

Thanks

Hi and welcome

Firstly, most agency and parlour websites are photographed to death, so don't worry about them.

The tantric massage thing may well be a cover, I think the best thing you can do is arrange an interview with them and see how it is once you're there.  You can always say no when they offer you the work if you feel it's not for you.

The absoulte best thing is to go indie, do incalls from a hotel, then you can do it all your way and keep all your money, but if you really want to work in a parlour, you need to arrange an interview and take things from there.

Sounds like what your describing is body to body massage
rather than 'authentic tantra' which usually includes some
form of mental relaxation techniques.

Body to body is fairly easy to do.
Doesn't sound like you're that keen though?

Ask the place exactly what services they expect
you to provide and if they organise training?

I was independent but it is not an option for me right now.  :'(

So I take it that all these new types of massages really are a service then!  ::)

I have seen a number of sites with recruitment pages, state 'qualified' however I just assumed they meant experienced escort, ha. I have just googled tantric training & go nowhere! It is not that I wouldn't do it if it is the norm in London, just for me personally it seems like a lot of faff, lol!

It has just dawned on me at the tender age of 30 I am now old school & completely out of sink.  ;D

Thanks

They're not really that new... ;)
I don't think you can guess till you ask what
qualifications they mean.

They could be talking anything from ITEC to tantric school.
But I think your right, most establishments may
provide simple body-to-body with wank at the end.
Far easier and safer than sex. :D

Some councils won't allow ladies to provide massage
in a 'parlour' without a legitimate massage certificate.
They can revoke the business license.

Cheeseypeas is right, ask what qualifications they need. I started my escorting career at a tantric massage place, was pleased to find they didn't need formal certificates and the clients were not expecting a super model for ?150 an hour. I understand why its more convenient to find parlour work. The parlours usually have showers, you can ask to get in the shower with the client to wash off the oil

Leigh, If you're not interested in massage and have an
aversion to oil it may not be worth considering.
You'll torture yourself...and clients get uncomfortable
with neg vibes. ;)

Have you tried googling 'massage parlours in London'?  It brings up a fair few places, are these not any good?

I have sent my information to many of them but a lot want you to work outcall/incall and I have no transport or place to work with very little money to invest with either. The others are sole individuals working / are offering a non-sexual non tantric service which I want to get into.

I'm not sure you're going to find out about that on here tbh as the vast majority of us are indie, and even the ones that aren't generally offer sexual services.  Someone might know something, but I am doubting it.  Sorry.

I agree with Curves...

Just done my shopping in London:Soho/Tottenham Court Rd/Oxford Street
and always pass tons of smart looking 'Oriental Health Centres'
or 'happy ending' shops, sometimes 2-6 on a road.
I think they've taken over the role of  trad parlours.

I guess you could ask there, they sometimes accept non-Orientals.
My girlfriend works in one as an Indy and they are popular with Russian ladies.

That is really interesting to know & makes a lot of sense. The London scene is very different from the rest of the UK. I suppose that is the way to keep it all under control. I will definatly look into massage classes. I t would be nice to have that for my work anyway.

Cheers sweetie

I've been doing this for years, just used to a basic massage & foreplay - a client never knows when I have the hump!  ;)
