Jock itch (and other fungal type of infections)
« on: 08 June 2022, 02:31:30 pm »
Hi everyone,

I had a client the other day and only at the end of the session I noticed the guy had a jock itch (for those who don't know what it is, it's a fungal infection that creates red rashes generally appearing in the skin folds and specially around the groin for men). I didn't notice the guy had it at the beginning of the booking since he was a little bit overweight and had skin folds around the groin so only noticed when he laid down. I told him he should get his rash checked.

Today he contacted me again to see me but I declined the booking saying I wasn't available specifically because of this (he came really not long ago so I doubt the guy got it checked and didn't seem to care much either when I mentioned it to him).

I've seen jock itch can be transmitted though skin to skin contact hence I assume this could potentially lead to vaginal yeast infection.

Have you ever faced this case ? Would you see this client again (assuming he hasn't got his rash checked) ?

Ana
Thanks for the info on this
Ive not heard of it before.
I'd not see him again to risk of contamination transfer to infect you.
He should get checked out and not risk other women .

Ringworm is contagious, so definitely best to avoid touching the area, but it's unlikely to cause a vaginal yeast infection.

Yes Kiss, the name "Jock itch" is maybe not very well known but as Saltysweet said this is something pretty common and a lot of men get it (especially more during summer where people tend to go to the swimming pools full of bacteria). And indeed men don't give a sh** sadly because they are not considerate towards us and don't care about infecting someone else since what happens post booking is not their problem anymore.

Wow saltysweet, you use drastic measures when this occurs which is good! Would you also allow covered bj in that case or hj with gloves only ? To be honest, if this happens to me again, I wouldn't even bother and would tell them to leave straight away.

Kay, yes I think ringworm is the same type of fungal infection but jock itch spreads on a bigger zone and can have any shape, not specifically a ring.
