non sex agencies
« on: 06 August 2007, 03:50:24 pm »
hi everyone, can someone please help me urgently, as probably like many others im really in money trouble and need to work asap. i've tried all the usual scamming agencies ( a Baseball bat and a ski mask springs to mind ) and have lost a lot of money, and im running out now.
Are there such things as no sex companionship/escorting agencies. I have found an agency called female recruitment, and cannot find any info about them on the sw5 site or any other sites that tell you about the scammers, and i was wondering if anyone has heard of them. I would really appreciate all the advice i can get as it is a mine field out there aint it!!
Luv to ya all
Susie

The basic rule applies - if they say they're an agency and if they want money off you, they're a scam.

Female Recruitment is, from memory, owned by the same scammers as Male Recruitment and it's the same basic idea: lie to you so you pay a fortune for an ad that no-one will see and no-one will reply to.

There is very little non-sex work out there - it's much easier to find victims for such scams than it is to find anyone work.

If you're determined to try, look for 'promotions' work and, again, don't pay an agency a penny.

Surely if you don't want to do sex but you're interested in the sex industry you should be looking at stripping or something?

1. Stripping isn't what it used to be. There are more clubs and more dancers than there used to be, and the novelty has worn off to a large extent. Some girls in some clubs have big money nights sometimes, but there's probably less cash in it than you think.

2. Making money isn't easy. You can be stunning, but if you're not confident, motivated, and able to push through a sale you'll pootle along not making much (like I did).

3. Stripping is a financial risk. The clubs make money mostly from the dancers, not the customers. Some take a percentage of the money you make, most take a flat fee and it's up to you to cover that and then make a profit. When I was keeping up with things a few years ago, house fees for the famous London clubslike Spearmint Rhino and Stringfellows  were ?80/night.

If you still want to do it, find a club and ask if they're auditioning. You could try stripperweb.com for dancer reviews. Most clubs are lapdancing clubs: you're required to pole dance but you make money by selling lapdances (and maybe getting drinks bought from you). There are some, mostly pubs, where you just pole dance and collect tips for that.

Well, I suspect the bar side turns a tidy profit, but yes, this is one of the big problems with the scene. It's an incentive for the clubs to have more dancers than there's work for them, for example. Clients doubtless like the extra choice, but it means more house fees.

The strip pubs have their own set of problems - going round with a beer glass to collect tips after your performance is not for everyone.
