I wait only 5 minutes past the agreed time  for a new client, if I dont hear from him I send him a short text asking if he is close, if no reply, I block him under no show.

They never think about the knock on effect. They only think about themselves. And then they expect the time they booked for forgetting the fact that they just turned up late n half of its now gone. Then they will only pay for the time remaining. Honestly for a half hour booking more than five mins late isn't worth it for them really. For an hour maybe fifteen tops. Yesterday my guy was half n hour late for a 90min booking n I had to make sure he was out on time as I had other things I had to do. I still took the full fee. He said nothing, it was my birthday after all and he's a nice guy I've seen a few times before. He bought me a bunch of flowers and was saying he might buy me a pressy too. Someone else though may of commented n wanted some money back. Thing is it's not my fault if they're late! If it's cos of delays on public transport or an accident on the road n is unavoidable that's different but a lot of guys leave home late n have no idea where they're going. They don't plan ahead n plan the route or check how long it might take. I get it all the time n it annoys me. When I used to do outcalls the first thing I'd do is check on location, route, see if there's any planned works underground, etc before I'd even accept the booking. But punters aren't great at planning travel I've found.

If a client is running late or not able to make it for whatever reason they have ample time before the appointment just to let you know even via text.  If a client has not arrived by his alloted time I give him 5 more minutes and then get changed.

If a client is quite late and the next one is nearby I will see the one that's on schedule as he seems more reliable.

If I can fit time to fit the first client in great if not it's his problem for being late xx

I just had one ring me 10 minutes into their booking to say they were running late. I said they should have told me before their booking time started. He started going on about having to wait for his wife...I didn't wait to listen and just said, ok bye!

Not really, just think he's another twat who thinks it's ok to call after their booking has started! If he didn't want to be blacklisted he should have rang before and I might have even still seen him. Won't be accepting his calls again.
