keycard hotels ok?

Newbie alert (again!!!)
... my client wants to book a keycarded hotel for an outcall, are these generally ok? I guess after doing checks to make sure all is legit with the booking, he could meet me outside? ... x

Thank you Daisy! I know its a small chain hotel, one receptionist with the door next to the desk.... if she asks what Im doing I should say... seeing a friend?.... and try not to look too obvious? I normally wear pencil dress & courts... x
