I know, I know, stupid me. I was copying the number to check it and I accidentally called. He called me back, so I just said, "wrong number, sorry".
Sorry, I know it's probably not a big deal, but I really hope I haven't outed myself. :FF :FF :FF

I’ve done this before. Just block their number on your main phone. Hopefully your number isn’t linked to any social media accounts (e.g Facebook).

Is your personal number anywhere on the internet?
Also most people won't do anything with information, and he may be more concerned about discretionary issues (his).

Done that a few times and feel a right fool but nothing ever happened you could just block him if you feel gidgy. Sometimes I've said I used a friend's phone as I had no credit and they accept that . Then I remind him of the correct number. My private numbers not anywhere on the web though.ivr also seen one or two ladies use their vanilla civvy job phone as their ho phone!

No, I wouldn't imagine so, but there's a picture of my family on whatsapp! I didn't answer the phone when he called back, just sent a text. So he didn't hear my voice on the personal number. Just hoping he didn't figure, as I literally called straight after, accidentally, because his voice sounded familiar for some reason.
Ahhh the joys of a new ho phone!! No numbers saved so you've got the check them all.
You've put my mind at a bit of ease there, Salty. Thank you.

Save his number then see if he has whatsapp then block him then delete number. It's what I do when accidently did the same thing as you.

:) You're welcome Super Cheese.
This week re-read some mails and noticed I'd sent a client my real number a few weeks ago... I did a comedy double take. What was I thinking? Luckily he asked if it was still valid and I said nope.

Great idea, thank you, I've just realised that the photos don't show up unless they're saved in my contacts. I've got whatsapp in my ho phone again, it could be useful for screening. He is blocked on both phones, he wanted free pictures before service as it happens.
I don't feel as stupid now I know it's a common mistake.
