Thing are tough, need advice :(
« on: 13 June 2014, 06:45:21 pm »
Hi everyone, me AGAIN! ;D  So because I don't have an incall place at the moment and have been working on an off. I have been using hotels which have been costing me like ?120 but it's been difficult because  I have to go to different hotels / deal with cancellations and work part time. Now if you are a female escort you can expect the door to be revolving compared to a transgender escort (tv escort me  ;D, pretty tho) because you have a larger male clientele (no offense to anyone ) I normally have 1 or 2 clients a day (2 is a good day LOL) As you can see the sums don't up

I know it would be better for me to maybe rent a room for an hour ( never done this before and don't know how it works) than using a hotel room. Ironically I am shy  ::) (somehow a confident whore in the bedroom ???) So even in the beginning using hotel would a nerve racking thing for me, and haven't done renting someone's room because that just sounds complicated e.g  How do you book a room cause there must be other escorts also wanting to rent the same room , so if you get a client, the room might not be available???, when do you arrive, some booking can go over by 15 mins e.t.c

I know, I have posted threads on touring but never followed through because being in a different town is scary (far away from friends and family) and anxiety really doesn't help! So anywho I now want to tour and have figured if I can have the same amount of clients, I would make a better profit margin as hotels are much cheaper out of London (even if I lower my rate a bit). I am aware I would have to pay for travel but the calculations look good. Any advice on my situation.

BTW sorry for making you read my life story / if thread is in wrong section soz in advance xoxo

Not everyone has a revolving door, but yes, those figures are never going to add up. It's one thing to have several clients to cover a ?120 bill, but one or perhaps two is not going to leave you with much.

Have a look in seeking/offering for a room, but be aware that not everyone offering has the best of intentions. Is sharing a hotel booking with someone an option?

Never thought about sharing the bill, I take it, I can advertise on here? Just how curious renting a room from someone works. Because I live in London, and it's huge how do I advertise my location if I will be using more than one room ( I assume, I would need more than one room room as an option because if one isn't available at that hour, I would have to call up for another room on the list, which might be in a different location)

Or am I getting this totally wrong and you pre - book the hour in advance for the room, but what if you don't get a booking available at the time, but early or later?  ??? ??? ??? ??? Thanks for your help x

In terms of the notice needed, different places work differently - some are fine with short notice, others aren't.

I know there are other people they can see, but they need to understand (or be told!) that if they want to see you, it needs to be at this time or that time...

Don't know if this is any help but I'm also a TV escort and have always worked from home, its never posed any problems for me in a small building of around six to eight flats. Can imagine this would be difficult in a shared house or flat but if I was you I'd want to put my effort into getting a flat of your own, the hotel or room rental thing seems a lot more hassle to me especially when you're probably (if at all like my experience) dealing with the inevitable no-shows or non-committal/nervous guys a fair amount of the time and spending time travelling to/from and paying. I've only actually toured once briefly in Southampton, that was okay though would aim for spending more than just a couple of days in a place to allow people time to see you you can get Ibis rooms for around ?50/60 a night with pre-booking.

Juliette, thanks so much. I do realize that now, I have to get a flat! I guess I been avoiding it because of the  high flat prices in central London (still works out cheaper than a hotel room) I really don't want to live in central London but guess I have no choice as it's busier there. Have been looking at  a few places to tour, actually feeling bit excited as it will be a break in a way x

I don't think you have to work in central London by any means. If anything TV/TS escorts are far rarer outside the capital I'd say so this can be played to your advantage, I'm not far from London but get many clients travelling to and from the city on work even some who travel out from London to see me as well as guys travelling within anything up to a 70 mile radius just for bookings. Not having too great a rent burden here is nice, I don't know how much more you could earn working in central London but you would have to weigh it up against the living costs there too - but if London's your thing maybe its worth it. If it isn't I wouldn't think twice about moving out...
