Hi everyone! This’ll be a little long- I apologise in advance !

I’m going to be in the U.K. for three months from this Tuesday. I’m originally from Surrey but moved to Australia 6 years ago. I’ve worked off and on as an escort (also do massage) for the last 4 years, so am very used to the Aussie way of doing things but a total novice in the U.K.

Spend time with a relative who is very unwell and probably won’t make it to the end of the year. But the thought of spending money for a few months while not eating anything is definitely daunting so I’d like to work for 2/3 nights.

Sooo question time-

1. Where would you suggest in/ around London?
2. Is a hotel or a [serviced apartment] better?
3. How busy is the industry generally at the moment ? My main concerns is spending a lot of money on accommodation and then not even profiting. Tbh I’ve had a look at rates on various U.K. escort sites and there’s definitely a lot less money in it than in Australia. I tend to book accommodation here for $120-150 a night. My 30 minute massage only booking is $150 for 30 mins, so I just need to do one booking to break even. But at the very minimum I’d get 4 bookings a day- sometimes all full service  sometimes massage only. But I never fear profiting.
4. How much is sensible to spend on accommodation and would I br guaranteed to make a profit or is it a big risk? For context (if it matters) I’m about 5’5, size 12, C cup, longish blonde hair, green eyes. I only mention this as sadly there’s a racism issue here in Australia and most Asian workers (or really any who aren’t Caucasian) aren’t able to charge as much as the white chicks as most guys won’t pay it 🙄🙄🙄
5. Is there a website to screen client’s phone numbers ?
6. Which websites are best to advertise on?



Sorry for such a long post. Just feel very blind going into it all. I’d be looking at working for 2/3 nights around late August. I know it isn’t much but I am really looking forward to take a big break from this work hahahaha not that I hate it but it gets a bit much sometimes. I’d just be keen to earn a little while I’m home to feel a bit more at ease over spending money while away form aus.

Accommodation in london is incredibly expensive. If you want more clients charge less.

London is very competitive and accommodation is expensive. You might be better off working in smaller towns and cities in the home counties. Or even other parts of UK. Don't presume London is the only place you can make decent money.

I'm also British but started working in Australia. I actually find I'm busier here. But I work in brothels (have worked independently in both countries). Brothels in UK are illegal but often tolerated and monitored to some extent by the police but it varies depending on regions. I actually find UK brothels better money than in Australia. Not higher rates but normally higher volume so more money overall. Not everyone would agree with me but that's been my experience. Most women on this site work independently so you will get more input from that side of the industry

Assuming you're staying with your relative I'd be inclined to agree with Lora and maybe look for some parlour/brothel worm if you're not completely against the idea. You'll have a lot on as it is by the sound of things and Adultwork is a pain in the arse on it's own before you even start with other ads (and then having to deal with shite enquiries, sort out and pay for an incall and so on rather than just turning up for your shift and leaving after it). Hotels are horrific here and especially so atm because it's school holidays.

Plus you can always set up some independent ads once you've settled in a bit; maybe promote outcalls so you don't need to fork out for somewhere?
