I'm moving country in a couple of months and Amsterdam is my top choice but I am concerned that it may be hard for me to support myself as an escort over there because it's so largely known for it's red light district, I'm not sure ?150 an hour would go down well there when girls are charging so little - I know it's a different gfe service but I'm still not convinced - is there anyone who has ever lived or toured in Amsterdam to enlighten me?

What I heard basically is that there is a market for upscale escorts and there are also beautiful private apartments that girls share to work from which have nothing to do with the red-light district.
There are always clients who look for the more intimate gfe which you can't buy in the Redlight.
Geneva is known for its cheap Paquis where girls charge 50CHF an hour but the main agencies charge 1000 for 2 hour minimum (and the girls are seriously no top models).
But to be honest, I would also stay away from Amsterdam because I believe even if you can make a lot of money, there are places where you can make far more, depends on what you expect.

There for sure is a market, it's more agency based however i must admit i have no idea where you advertise over there, backpage maybe, backpage seems universal, there would be no harm in putting yourself on adultwork but when i gave the area a look there wasn't many girls (perhaps a good thing if british clients comes over to stay). You can get reasonably priced accomodation over there, canal boats are quaint & clients would be fine visiting you there i'm sure. Agencies seem to be charging ?130 over there. I guess you could consider your at a holiday location with a lot less stigma within the job, perhaps you could feel comfortable reducing to ?20 on those grounds however that's your choice alone of course.

I live in the Netherlands and work with an high class agency, there is definitely a market if you want to work with an agency.
