If the going rate is say 150/hr

and a good looking girl with great service etc offers it at 140/130 or such....is there going to be a high demand?

Its logical or not?

What do you think ladies?

100% Definitely. Clients will always be looking for VFM and you are more likely to get the new client than the other girl in your area who is more expensive. You don't have to offer 'cheap' rates but like you said look at other girls in your area and charge say ?10 or ?20 less that is definitely logical.

Prices are sometimes based on where you are located too. ie In Scotland you are lucky to get 120 GBP per hour and in many cases just 100 GBP.

IMO, it is what the guy is willing to pay for the services he wants and not what specific girls want to charge that matters. The girl could be the prettiest girl on the block but have zilch personality so may not get a lot of repeat business which can count for a lot of our work.

Being the cheapest in the area does not necessarily mean you are going to get the most work, if that is what you are asking. At the same time there is no sense pricing yourself out of the business either.

Not always. Whilst a higher fee doesn't mean you'll automatically get a better service there is something to be said of the saying 'pay peanuts get monkeys...'

Charge what you feel comfortable with, I know I'd get overnights if I charged less but I don't want them that badly so I keep it high.

Depends on your local area, your marketing, your level of service, feedback etc. VFM is just that, not necessarily just being the cheapest.

Say there is girl A, she is ?120 an hour with no feedback, 1 blurry phone pic and a fairly badly written profile.

Then there is girl B, she is ?140 an hour, she has some good feedback, clear photos, and her profile is easy to read.

Which is the punter more likely to take the risk on?

Obviously if you are comparing yourself against 'direct competition' as it were, then you should price yourself as either the same/ slightly less than the competition (if you want more work).

I'm new to this, but I think yes. When I started out I desperately needed money - any amount of money. So while I didn't go below the average rate of escorts in my area, I went below the average rate of escorts in my "target group" (young slim girls) and I got flooded by responses, I see how other girls with higher rates and women with rates like mine but less service or less "mainstream" type of women have to constantly bump their ads, but I never have to, my clients do it for me. Of course I think a big part of it is that I'm new, however I live in a very big city and there are plenty of new very pretty faces each day, so I really think it's the price that attracts a whole lot of them. Of course, as you can read on my thread not every guy is an actual good and normal paying client, so I'd have to get the hang of filtering out timewasters and creepers but yeah.
Now that I paid off my bills, in 1 week nonetheless, I'm thinking of actually raising the price, but that will probably result in a lot of protest and heckling haha.

During your first year at least you are kept busy through business on AW. It used to be about 2 years but with the saturation of unemployed girls joing the ranks of prossies it is getting harder.

During your first year you should try and prepare yourself for a lot of work drying up and getting yourself listed on lots of other free sites and getting yourself known.

When I started on AW 6+ years ago we had a minimum of 1000 hits a day and now we are lucky if we get 300 or so, so a big difference.

If the improved product can be purchased for a cheaper price then would buy it definetly. Some guys shop around for bargains.

It depends also on how many guys you want to see. Say you get 5guys at ?100ph or only 2 at 150ph which you rather? Personally for me id prefer less guys for less money rather than loads of guys and more money but everyone is different. As Cassy says cheap rates doesn't mean they will altomatically go for you it's about the whole package but having a slightly lower rate than the girls in your area as long as your profile and pictures are good will definitely give you an advantage yes.

Of course it's like anything. But then saying that for example I've been going to my hairdressers for over 5years same with my nail place, and they are expensive and I probably could get the same service for cheaper elsewhere but I'm so used to them, we are on first name basis and I know what i'm getting and would never go anywhere else even when I see offers for cuts and colours for half the price.

yeah, I'm not on AW since I don't live in an english speaking country, but thanks for the advice anyway. I don't know if I'm still going to be doing this in a year though.

Hopefully the info will help others then that are in UK. Its on days that AW goes down that girls come crying to the boards cos they do not know what to do because AW is the only place they are listed. Kind of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.

yeah, I don't know how popular AW is in the UK..I checked it a while ago when I first thought of escorting and I saw that there are barely 50 listings for my country..most of them male (as in male offering escorting services, not punters)

so if I had to rely on that site, I would probably have 1 client per year or so haha.
