Touring/Working Dilemma
« on: 24 July 2015, 10:07:38 am »
So I am to start my tour the 2nd of August and I was asked to foster a few kittens as the rescue center is full to capacity and they can not find anybody else to help.  My housesitter is not comfortable with looking after 19 cats and my dog and my 3 rodents,  which is understandeable.

But my clients are going to be furious if I cancel again, on top of that I have been offered a two week contract with a bank as I have registered with a recruitment agency to do part time work.

What would you do?

So you can stay home and care for the cats and still make money doing a square job?

Too bad if your clients are disappointed - "furious" would be a bizarre reaction to your cancelling a tour with plenty of notice. It's not like you're cancelling on the day.

I know but I have cancelled the previous months due to my anxiety and I jsut feel this is going to piss them off :/.

Doing the square job is also a start for me to get back into main stream employment.

Is there no way for you to visit local cities where you can return home on the same / next day? At least then you are not committing yourself to a tour that lasts X amount of days, which would help in reducing your anxiety?

Well I have agreed to do the fostering, the kitty kats got dropped off an hour ago and I already have 2 cuddled up with me and three destroying my leather lounge suit, thank god I am not materialistic lol.

I am going to reschedule my trip as they genuinely needed help forstering, so am going to put off touring for 2 months.  Am lucky my older female cats are very welcoming and they are already cleaning the babies and playing with them.

If I had the room I would probably foster so many more :(  that need the help.
