(Must be serious again for a second, though - you aren't going to be meeting clients alone without a safety buddy, are you? It's really important that someone knows where you are, and that your clients know that someone knows where you are. We have a section of the forum dedicated to finding buddies, even temporary ones, or if you have someone in real life that you can trust, that's great, too!)
I agree with Kimba here as well - having a sense of humour about sex work is really important and helpful so I think you'll do fine! Even if you don't really like the job or only decide to do it short-term, if you can have a laugh about sex generally (while making sure to stay safe so you never run into serious/bad situations) then that's very healthy for mind and body. This is another reason for a good safety buddy or two - when I talk to my friends after a booking, I always say if something funny happened! You don't want this sort of thing stewing away in your brain 24/7, particularly if you keep the job secret from most people in your life.
