Title: Is business busier on a weekend or week day?
Post by: MWM on 05 March 2019, 12:59:50 am
Hello!
I currently only work two day times mid week and I generally know when I’m likely to be most busy (busiest late morning & lunch time and from 5pm), I’ve never worked a Saturday but I’m thinking of doing so soon and wanted to know if you seem to find you’re busier with clients on a weekend or more so mid week?
I find a lot of my clients are not single and so my thinking would be that they wouldn’t be visiting escorts on a weekend when their significant others are probably around. On the other hand, for single men who don’t work weekends I would imagine a Saturday would be when they’re looking to visit us.

What is everyone else’s experience on this? Just trying to decide if working a Saturday could be potentially quite lucrative or potentially very quiet!

Thank you! X

I find weekends can be reasonably busy, also relationship status has nothing to do with time of day or day of the week.

Some single men like to book during weekdays, some prefer weekends, same with those with partners - no rhyme or reason, just their personal preference and lifestyle.

Weekends is hit and miss.  Evening and weekend bookings tend to happen when you aren't seeking it.  Unless clients know you are always available  practically 24/7.

I was more thinking that a client who may live with his partner could find it more difficult to visit an escort on a weekend, but could more easily nip out during work on his lunch break or before he goes home on the evening  :) x

That's one scenario people have different lives, different opportunities.

For example a partner may pop out at the weekend either to work, or another commitment, shopping, days away with friends or taking part in sports etc.

A client or partner may work at the weekends and or engage in shift work.

A client may have reason to be away at weekends - meetings for a variety of reasons, or go out taking part in sports or other reasons to be travelling away.

Don't want to write too many specifics but lots of reasons and 'alibis' I'm aware of.

Also had singletons book time off work specifically to see me during weekdays.

People do not live 9-5 standard lives, they also do not live in each others pockets.

I have almost always found it dead at the weekends, with a few exceptions, and that’s including staying in an awful lot of areas.

Occasionally I’m proved wrong, but not often.

I've sometimes had busy weekends, perhaps slightly more Sundays than Saturdays, but it varies so much it's difficult to tell. On the whole, I'd say 12-7pm Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri is the busiest time, though I know 7-11am can be good too (I'm not a morning person!)

My work is rather erratic lately, most weekends for me are quiet/hardly a booking, which suits me nicely as I go out and do things or go places if no clients booked in by mid day or just after. Last 3 weekends though have been surprisingly busy with most of my weekly money being earned on a Sat or Sun. No idea why and not bothered to find out as long as my target is met.

Give it a try, use local search and boost your profile to the Top of  that listing to get seen more  :)
It might save you credits spent on available today .. just pay for phone number display as well ..
I did different days  including weekends to test out see if I got busier ..
You may find weekends some guys may be free  if they  couldn't get to you in the week
Good luck x

Yes we can all speculate but until you try you don't know.

I once had to go to evening and weekend only, what happened was those who could move to those times did, those who couldn't waited and interestingly those who were new and fitted those times tended to be very reliable.

When I tour, I usually start on a Sunday afternoon and it’s always been really busy (aside from just one time but the entire tour was slow) and it’s made me consider starting on Saturday so I can get the full day in on the Sunday as I always get requests earlier in the day too.

I was chatting with a client about this once and he said that from his experience a lot of girls don’t work on Sundays so maybe that’s why.

I can’t remember the last time I worked a Saturday now but when I did used to try it was always a waste of time unless it was an advance booking.

I think it depends on the city you are in. I prefer weekdays and have worked a variety of shift patterns - in summer I  regularly got early morning appointments from 6.30am, although I did offer these at a reduced price. I loved those bookings, so easy.

I have worked some Saturdays and they've been awful, and some which have been great. I have done Sundays, and they tend to be a bit busier. But I like weekdays as they are fairly consistent and I have childcare in place for these days.

You could always operate an advance booking only policy so you know whether it is worth your time or not?

It really depends on whether you offer incalls or outcalls, which area you are in, what times you are available (day and/or evening) and what kind of clientele you are targeting.
I get a mix match of both weekdays and weekends. I could get 3 x 2hour bookings over one weekend and then nothing the following weekend!

The only quiet times are bank holidays so avoid them like the plague - ie bank holiday weekends, Christmas and Easter.
Doesn't really matter if they are single or not!

After 6months of escorting, I’m still amazed that Mondays & Fridays are (hands down) my busiest days of the week. I’m ‘low volume’ (Max of 3 clients per day) and regularly turn down a number of bookings on those days- well, hopefully they’re just being ‘deferred’... (Ever the optimist lol)!

For some reason, I made the incorrect assumption that weekend evenings would equal ‘peak’ times; I’ve now got a bit of a hypothesis as to why Mondays & Fridays are busier but tbh it seems to be different for us and will vary according to a trillion different factors ie client base or ‘type’ (if there is such a thing)/area of work/type of service offered etc. Well, Probably.

Thanks for all the opinions, advice and replies from your experiences!

I work Monday and Fridays from a city Center in the North, day times only but once each month or so, I’ll work a late night til about 10pm so I’m able to be available for the early evening people. Day times suit me as that’s when I have childcare arranged, and my clients seem to usually be those who have nipped out of the office, and I prefer those because they tend to have a bit more about them - chatty, friendly guys who needed a bit of relief from their working day!

I use my local search and display my number - I only really use the “available now” on a day when I’m working into the evening to hopefully make the most out of the night.

I think I’ll try a weekend day soon and see how it goes, worth a shot! X

Defo try, I didn't work long time on Sunday but last one I was home in bed and had a call. I said why not and when I was ready I took another call and later on Sunday I had 600....so I guess one Sunday in month I will work and if it will be like than I will do maybe twice a month...maybe was one off...that's why try and you will see....
  good luck!

I got up for the loo once in the middle of the night and ended up being wide awake. I had forgotten to switch off my work phone and lo & behold there was quite an ‘interesting’ proposition’in a well worded text off a new punter that came through at the same time! He said late he’d only texted “on the off chance” I was working & wasn’t really expecting a reply XD But usuallyI wouldnt  have even read it if id got it the following morning (as I usually delete those that have the cheek to text during the night lol) but thought hey ho ... might as well as there was no chance of falling asleep again any time soon so after th usual precautions/ screening, I agreed to take the booking (incall)- and it was great lol!! Just goes to show you its deffo worth doing random experiments and breaking your ‘usual’ working pattern even if only once in a while...

I agree, Mondays and Fridays are my busiest days!

... yay not just me then!!

Whereabout are you based Veggiegal?? Im in the north east and my incall location is ideal for the chaps on their lunchbreaks which is probably a significant factor in my situation... (Jezus Im such a frickin’ over thinker ... ‘Analysis Paralysis’ anyone?? ::) lol)

Wonder if you agree with my hypothesis then ..? I reckon that since these two days are essentially the ‘Bookends’ of the weekend - its the married punters/ those in LTR who are gagging to see us knowing they are about to spend TWO. WHOLE. DAYS off with their Trouble n Strife / Significant Other on Fridays

(... which I can actually relate to myself lol For years before I mustered the courage to leave my then partner, I was doing *exactly* that - only probably by virtue of being female not needing to pay for it - ie calling up my secret fk buddies &/or arranging random hook-ups online  :-\Tis highly likely all that will have influenced & informed my cynical outlook and the resulting dubious ‘theory’ lol...)

And  continuing in a similar vein ergo: Mondays are just as busy for the same reasons but sort of, in teverse ie _because_ they’ve had to spend TWO. WHOLE. DAYS with the missus... Anyone concur...? One of my (admittedly probably  very annoying) foibles is that I *have* to know reasons for things  ;D so musing about such can take up a lot of my headspce until I’ve come to some sort of conclusion .Lol

A tually, just reading back through this before I post has made me realise just how ‘down’ on marriage/LTRs I seem to be at the mo’...  ;D ;D ;D

Mirror, hiya. Out of interest, did you use hotels of an evening?
I’m outcall evenings and weekends only atm and I really miss hosting and want to go back to it. But circs currently don’t allow me to do so.

Anyone host from hotels weeknights in home city without kipping there?

I wish I had the Mon-Fri rush! Here I am on a Friday I've had ONE half hour booking all day  :( Saying that I've worked quite a few Fridays and have mostly been steady, sometimes busy. Sundays have almost always been dead so stopped doing them.
I will change my pattern here and there though as it could change.

I do think with this industry you can never tell.

I work from hotels in my home city and do one evening each month. I don’t stay overnight, and I don’t usually come back to check out in the morning - I’ll leave my key card and then maybe call the hotel in the morning staying check out was too busy and I was in a rush.
I’d never want to stay overnight in the hotel room without a change of bed sheets either. Yak.
