How to go about incalls?
« on: 04 November 2010, 09:13:35 pm »
I don't have a place to do incalls from and I tried setting up a hotel for a fortnight away from when I started advertising it, got NO interest whatsoever despite updating profile twice a day or so!

What am I doing wrong? :(

Hi Sash,

I dont know about anyone else but in this game (sorry for the terminology) but its more like a 'day at a time' and not anything like a fortnight at a time.

Planning ahead is always a plus but it doesnt always work.  Advertising ahead is a primary formality before we even go there ie advertising as IF you are there and seeing how response goes. NO RESPONSE = I DONT GO THERE.  Do that in half a dozen areas around where u r willing to visit and take it from there.   There are a million other ways to work and ill leave it to the other girls to fill you in on them.

Hi Lady,

Thanks for the advice! So advertise ahead of time but just don't go if I don't get bookings? I didn't actually book a hotel, just incase I got no interest!
I've noticed a lot want same day appointments though, was wondering if it was worth risking doing that? x

Hi Sash
I can only speak for myself but I personally find that the majority of my clients make their appointments on the day with a smaller percentage booking in advance.
I can totally understand your concern regarding working from a hotel as you do think 'Oh my god nobody will turn up on the day and I'm going to be out of pocket'. I have cancelled hotel rooms for precisely that reason in the past only to get enquires on the day AFTER 'I've cancelled from guys wanting appointments. I think in many cases men will check your site and see you are available on X day but then wait to the actual day itself to try and make a booking with you. Also pick a hotel that isn't overly pricey so that if worse comes to the worse you don't have to remortgage the house to cover the cost of it.

Nothing is ever guaranteed in this game but I would suggest that you advertise your incall day in advance but not panic too much if you get no advance bookings. Then on the actual day you have booked the hotel make sure you use all the  tools at your disposal (available today if you are on AW etc). You may very well be pleasantly surprised to find the phone starts ringing once you are booked into your room.
A problem I find with using hotels is that the majority don't allow you to book in until the afternoon, thus missing the lunchtime trade (so to speak :-[). Other peeps here may know some hotel chains that allow earlier booking in times though :)
Best of luck if you decide to give it a go.

If I get one job booked in advance of a tour you can almost guarantee it will cancel on the day! Yes the phone will ring when you are there.

I only tour if I want to see a certain city so it is a mini break but I am now touring Guildford regularly as I am building up a fan base. It is only 40mins drive from my house so I can pop over and back as necessary.

Travel Lodges are fine for regular tours providing you do not need the key card at reception.  The Guildford one they can get teh lift to the floor and I meet them at teh door so no big deal. You get effectively a 2 day lunch hour as you pay ?10 extra to check in at 12, an ?10 extra to check out at 2.30pm.

Like the other girls say, most of my bookings are 'on the day' tho that is not everyones case.  When I say advertise as if going I mean to do it only to see if you get a lot of calls or emails  re bookings.  Unfortunately we cant tell who will call and ultimately who will turn up even when they do make a call ................ its all a guessing game and has been for a while now.  With so many fems coming on the game cos of shortage of money it is getting more difficult for everyone.

Sometimes we just gotta bite the bullet and take the chance of getting the calls on the day.  Im like the lady who said she uses it as a mini break, im the same, its good to get away from homeland and enjoy ........ not just work, work, work.  ME time is required esp in this game as many ppl dont realise how mentally exhausting it is (well it is for me anyway.)

Good Luck !

If you use the Accor hotels (Novotel, Ibis etc), you can cancel them up to 4pm on the day, so although you won't be able to book the super-cheapo (non-refundable) rate you should still be able to get a room reserved enough in advance to get a reasonable price, and you can just bin it if you decide not to bother. Ibis aren't half bad for a budget chain (although like everything else, they vary).

Have you decided on a regular day of the week for incalls which you can advertise? I know there isn't really one day that's reliably busier than any others, maybe if you had a 'routine' people could get used to. I don't really take same day bookings, but like Simone said, if you want to try it get your room organised and then throw everything you can at it - even if you're only on AW there are plenty of extra features you can use, and even though it'll rack up the costs, if you decide the date in advance I think some of these are cheaper too.

Just to add that Ibis have a 12pm check in, not 2pm.  At the moment am trying to stick to the same hotel chains to rack up the points on my loyalty cards. When you get to certain levels you often find you can have late check outs etc, as well as free nights.

A friend of mine would ask other escorts if she could use their flat a couple of days/evenings a week and in return she would give them bit of money towards their rent.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I think I'm going to try taking incalls every friday from now on, and I had a look at the Ibis, I can cancel up until 7pm if I don't actually go in!

If it's not too far away, check to see if it's one of those which need a keycard to use the lifts. If so, you'll need to meet downstairs nor find another way of getting them to the room.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."
