Invisalign & Escorting?
« on: 11 October 2015, 12:22:15 pm »
Hi girls,

Just wondering if any one had any experience working whilst having Invisalign treatment? They're basically clear braces but not sure how deep french kissing or oral would be with them in. Worried either the client would be able to feel them or it may be uncomfortable.

Anyone had it done before?

xoxo

Hi lovely,

I haven't had braces myself so I'm not sure how it feels. Why not practice oral on a toy or a cucumber just to see how it feels and see if there's any interference? You might feel a bit daft but who cares! Is there anyone you could have a quick snog with to get feedback? A partner or good friend maybe...
If you really don't feel comfortable with the braces, perhaps think about not offering oral services until they're out. Does it take long? X

I worked with braces and was never a problem but the braces were on the front of my teeth so mostly the inside of my lips got cut when I opened my mouth wide to give oral.
I've got a retainer on the inside of my teeth now and with no problems but it's just a wire glued to the back of my teeth. Depends which side they're fitted to x

Braces usually take a couple of years lol. But if you're comfortable giving oral but it causes abrasions in your mouth it would be recommended only offering oral with as the risk of STD, especially the ones transferred via blood would be much higher.

Invisaligns are not normal braces - they're clear retainers which you get replaced every couple of weeks with a slightly smaller one to force the teeth into the right place. You can take them out when you eat but need to wear them as much as possible.

It depends how much you work but (having had a retainer post-metal braces) I would take it out during bookings. Clients will probably be able to feel/see it and it might come out while they're kissing you.

I had Invisalign for 16 months and there's no way I could've worked with it. It was fine taking it out straight before a booking and putting it back in as soon as the client had gone. I salivated more with it in and made strange slurping sounds, but they could only be heard up close, so the client would've definitely wondered what was up! And they are also sometimes a bit sharp at the top. Never interfered or hurt me, but would potentially scrape on willies. Practice taking it off, because my first few would take a little while to wrench off due to my higgledy piggledy teeth and the brackets on some of my teeth. So you may not want to wait until the buzzer goes if you have bother with it. Good luck with it. I love the results of mine. I used to have teeth like Janet Street Porter, and now people comment on my nice teeth  :D ;D. Worth every penny x

I thought Invisaligns were clear/metal fixed braces? As opposed to all metal fixed braces?

I am about to have braces (I hope!) and this is what I understood from the info they gave me.

Hey hun

I had the Invisalign braces (mine were clear white 'train tracks') the fixed ones and I managed to work with them. Although I actually only had mine on for 3 months so it wasn't too much of an issue. While I had them on I only offered OW as I didn't want any lovely surprises stuck in my brace! haha.

The slight issues I did have were the pain when I got them tightened - I couldn't even eat porridge at one point! -and once very late at night one of the brackets snapped and I had to finish my shift there and then to have an emergency app the next morning.

But if you're careful and don't do anything to vigorous you should be fine :)

Hi girls,

Anyone recently had Invisalign and worked with them on all the time? If so how do you go about keeping them clean in between clients. Do you remove them and brush in between bookings or just use mouthwash?

Also if you do remove them during bookings at which point do you do so? I’m also considering maybe just taking them off start of booking them back on as soon as I’ve finished.

I’ve been told to have them in for 22 hours a day so curious to know your experiences.

Amira x
