Could you give me an example of the sort of template you use for answering enquiries?

I don't answer texts ever since I toured Birmingham and was targeted and got hundreds of texts, with the anxiety sending me under. I don't answer texts because I struggle to differentiate between the genuine guys and the non genuine guys via text (whereas I can usually intuitively tell whether they are genuine from a phone booking). I specifically state near the top of my profile that I don't respond to texts.

Usually I don't respond at all. U available? U working? Are all ignored and blocked for me.

Someone who sends an articulate one will receive a response asking to call. 50% do and 50% don't. Most of the men who text me are timewasters not gonna lie.

A few turn out to be genuine and have just seen my pictures and grabbed the number and texted so I have decided to be a bit less rash over the next few days and ask them to call and see whether it results in some genuine business as I realise when someone calls after and they are genuine that I probably turn a fair bit of business away as a result of this for penalising them (some text and then probably re-read my profile, realise I don't respond to texts and do call later on)

I tend to have a similar experience. I ignore most texts unless they are nice and clear and give me a bit of info about when they want to come. I do have an autoresponse but I do also send a manual text myself to the decent ones asking them again to please call me. Some do, some don't. Those that continue to text AFTER being asked twice to call, get blocked.

I still can't take text bookings though. I always want to talk to someone although I see the logic that a decent, accurate and coherent text will indicate someone reasonable sensible.

I recently tried to take text bookings, I set my autoresponse to ask them to either call me or to text with certain information. The trouble was, it's a one way booking. They could send the info I asked for and be expecting to meet when in truth I've been tied up and not even seen their text. They might have wanted to meet before the time I even saw their text so that just doesn't work for me. I then added to my autoresponse to wait for my response before travelling but in all honesty it got too complicated with all possible scenarios so I continue to only take (new client) bookings by phone call. Previous clients I'm happy with a text.

Sending a confirmation response by text when they book means I have to read the text when they send it and be able to reply, I can't if I'm busy.

I just find without a quick chat there are too many potential complications. Phone bookings work best for me.

For me it’s the language of the text.

However there are some days I can’t be bothered with them and I set on my auto reply that calls will be answered now and texts will be looked at later.

If they want my immediate attention they will call.
