Thanks for answer. I asked the insurance chap who tried so hard to help me (bless him) if I should say a masseuse and he said unless all my business paperwork showed I was a masseuse id have my claim turned down at the point of proving income so I'd make sure your books look like it's only a masseuse  business and hopefully you never have to use it. I resigned myself to ending up on sickness benefits if anything awful happened and trying to save a pot of money big enough to tide me over until I could get that sorted.

It's mad that we are trying to be responsible and ensure we are not a burden to the state should we become ill and we seen as such a big risk we uninsurable....I wonder if porn stars have the same issues. I bet trapeze artists can even get insurance and stunt persons but no not the likes of us 

I think LOTM only offers massage plus HE, so may get away with masseuse.

I know this is an old topic but I'm thinking of getting income protection and a quick Google search found me only one or two companies that offer it to sex workers. Is there anyone here who has income protection for sex work? I wonder how hard it is to get the insurance and whether they would pay out if you had a physical injury or accident.

I had it a few years ago however it kept going up to £100s of a month. X
