Incall security?
« on: 14 January 2014, 04:16:43 pm »
Can anyone point me in right direction or advise please. Worked from home via agency for couple years.
Just got myself on aw and made some bookings over msg service.

Are there any Incall security Checks I should be doing?

Searched Incall security etc but nothing xx

What security checks did the agency do? If you are stil taking bookings from them it would be worth inquiring. From previous experience a lot of agencies only take a clients telephone number for you to call them.

I would think that most of the security checks you would already do as you already worked from home.

Bottom line is common sense & gut instinct, if something does not feel right or you are not happy / comfortable with the way the initial chat on the phone is going, don't take the booking.

I don't know where you are located but I have had lots of useful information in the past from the Project at Praed St, London who can give advice also as well as lots of leaflets.

Am happy to pm you also if you want to discuss incall security further as there are lots of useful tips I was given that hadn't occured to me and well worth noting.

Alternatively you can (if close enough) go to the Project

Thank you
I don't do security checks as I'm working for an agency so they just send them to the door

Thank you so much for the pm! Some useful stuff I hadn't thought of

(Haven't done an independent booking yet, seems guy was a tw. That's a plus side of agencies I guess, not much of that to deal with)

Hey, glad to have been of help.

Sometimes it helps to chat through stuff with other girls and/or if you have any resources you can turn to, depending on where you are located of course.

With time you will soon be able to sniff out the timewasters (they tend to follow the same pattern......... :FF).  Sadly, I often wonder if the ration of phone calls from timewasters outdoes the serious punters............. probably does!  Lot of sad fools out there with too much time on their hands!

Am happy to pass on any tips as the same has been passed onto me.

Stay safe.

Also, gut instinct............ never proved me wrong and think safety first over money............

I have learnt from my mistakes that the money wasn't worth the feeling of fear, although fortunately nothing horrendous happened just a couple of wake up calls that made me sit up and think, was that really worth it?  In all cases, it wasn't.  If it don't feel right, don't do it.......... simple.

I am talking here more about outcalls and getting a bit slack on following my safety procedures which I hadn't then regretted it, although all went well, I realised the potential harm I could have found myself in and not having put safety procedures in place was stupid.

Yeah I've just changed a booking for tomorrow from an oc to ic
I've seen the guy once but through his messages I just started to feel uncomfortable about going on his turf, def not worth the cash worrying

Bee, I've left this up because it's a sensible enough subject but please note that the post you're referring to is over two years old, and if you want to contact somebody directly about a very old post (and they're still a member here) it's probably better to try sending them a PM :).
