Incall flat vs Touring
« on: 07 September 2011, 03:23:41 pm »
I wonder if anyone has  stopped touring to get an incall place or  given up their incall flat to tour and would share their experiences ?

I have an incall flat and am doing OK  ;D  but the overheads dictate long hours and if i take time off i feel guilty. I've only done one tour  (5 days) did well then came straight back and worked incalls again -exhausting.

It's such a pain when not working - two lots of bills to pay (and the rest) I would love to give up the flat and just tour so I am free to take time off etc., but it is a risk and scary as I'm doing OK at the moment.

Any thoughts? :-\     :o Annabelle x

If it ain't broke don't fix it?

i do both  but my incall place  dosnt cost me very much as i bought it years ago for around 20k so i just work from there for a few week maybe three weeks then bugger off on tour for  2 weeks or so
i dont think i could handle just touring though  its to much pressure
i like having my incall place for when i want to make money but not work that hard  the touring i  money i use for saving generally

Thanks for your reply Paris  ;D

You definitely have the best of both worlds and have it well sorted with your great investment. Wish i had done that.

It sounds as if you make more money touring but its balanced with it being harder work, as i said I've done one tour and it was an eye opener- I had one guy wanted to come to the hotel the next day at six in the morning lol
i saw him at 10am yawn  ::) and he told me one touring girl he knows sees him at 6am.
He wakes her up and then they shower together  :o

We invest a lot in the hotels and travel etc so I suppose it makes sense
