Does not offering fingering affect business?
« on: 17 September 2024, 04:02:26 pm »
I’m going through the menopause just now and I’m finding that being fingered especially if the client is too heavy handed or trying to push the fingers in too deep is extremely painful, I’m going to have to not offer this anymore.

Question is: does this affect business not offering fingering and is this normal feeling sore / sensitive during the menopause? It never used to be so sore.

TIA

I stopped offering it due to always getting bv or thrush. I don’t think it’s really affected business, I’m still quite busy. And I haven’t had bv or thrush since so I’m happy!

Yep I’m the same, thrush, BV, it’s the pain that I can’t handle. Since I’ve hit the menopause it’s really sore. It’s not worth the money going through that pain

I'm a few years post menopause and yes I'd say it is a drier and more painful experience these days, not helped by most men not having a clue what they're doing when they shove their fingers in there. Sometimes I have time to reach for some lube, more often not. My last client today had his fingers in there within less than 30 seconds of getting on the bed and wondered why I shrieked and told him to be gentle.

My petrol lawnmower has a covered button that you have to press 3 times rapidly and firmly with 2 fingers before pulling the starter motor cord and it's the exact same technique most men seem to use on my vagina. Zero finesse.

Having had 7 sets of fingers shoved inside me in the last 2 days I've come home once again feeling horribly itchy and will be dosing up on Canestan at bedtime after removing fingering from my services.

I'm with you on this Anonandon, it's not worth the hassle and pain. Caligirl it's good to hear that withdrawing it hasn't affected your business.

Stopping fingering has not made any difference to bookings in my case and it must be at least 5 years now. I remember when I allowed it and feeling myself tighten up when they approached with those germ covered digits. Yuk.

I’ve never really offered it and it’s never affected business. I find reverse oral does make me feel horrible down there and that hasn’t affected business either (which I’m surprised about but happy).

Hi, I did the same, stopped offering fingering due to getting thrush. I found it has not affected business at all. I only had to block 1 guy who kept fingering me after I told him No 3 times.

Fingering makes me cringe. I’ve never offered it. Hasn’t affected me at all

I banned fingering several years ago and it has made zero difference to bookings. I also don’t allow a tongue in my vagina as it has the same effect, gives me thrush.

I think we always worry that clients won’t book us if we don’t offer certain services, but, we just attract clients who want what we do actually offer.

With regard to fingering, I’ve never found it’s something a lot are interested in anyway.

A halfway compromise is to let them use a condom covered finger or a new examination glove - I had a couple of clients in the past that had a fetish for gloved fingering and done sensitively with lube I have to admit that I enjoyed it at times. Always provide the glove obviously and no long or sharp nails.
