I cant breathe Right Now!
« on: 26 December 2008, 10:08:33 am »
what a night! by the way happy holidays. Anyway, just came back from booking, Im allergic to cats...the guy had 3-4 cats all over the place, but it was a nice apartment. Fuck it....a freaking palace can be nice but if it got cats Im going into an asthma attack!

Please, if you happen to have a cat, dog, fish, bird (also mildly allergic to birds too) take care to put them away, or at the least ask, "is it ok to have my cat-dog-fish-bird etc. in the area now?",  because I almost DIED tonight.  Last week for the 1st time ever someone was courteous enough to ask, "is it ok to have my cat here, or should I put in other room". I told him, no...Im allergic. Had no problems. Tonight, I sneezed for 40 minutes all the way on a 30 miles drive from this guy's place. Im very allergic to cats. I know I should of told him to please place them in another room, but since lately I havent been bothered when cats where previously around, I ignored my allergies and suffered the consequences. Fortunently, my allergies always kick in about 10 minutes after Im exposed to the trigger.

Its me and anti-histamines tonight  :'(  (watery itchy eyes)

Lol...aren't you a drama queen. :)
If you're the one that's going to an outcall, surely it should be up to you to let the client know that, if he does have any pets, then to please put them in another room. Just as if a client came to you and he told you he was allergic, it would then be up to you to put your pets in another room.
And since when do fish fall under fur allergies? Or is that you being dramatic? :D

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Well, its strange because I have been at people's house who had cats and been fine once I left. I was thinking as long as I didnt touch the cats, I would be fine, even if it walks on the sofa, bed etc.

I guess that only works with 1 cat. When you got 3 or 4 running around its going to be in the very air itself. Anyway, Im fine now, slept it off and am better. That 25 tip sure came in handy. The meds cost almost half of that!

sorry dear

but it is your responsibility to let the client know you are allergic, and i think it is a bit unfair to him to be that upset after it if he even does not know
i think most ppl don't ask to put pets away if they don't know, and i think most would take precautions ones they know

i am glad you are feeling better know sweetie,
and i think in future you will tell the clients to take precautions
