I know to have a website does not cost much, especially if you do it and maintain it yourself. Hosting fees just over ?100 per year, plus time which takes to update it, to change the pictures, etc.

I remember about 8-9 years ago (Just before Adultwork) the number of the visitors (which is different from the hits) was about 270-300+ in a day on my website.

In 2005-2007 its reduced to about 200-240.

In 2008-2009- the average was about 150-200 visitors.

In 2010-2011, its gone around 100.

I do understand that majority of  guys looking in Adultwork, and thats where the most hits comes from (about 200+ per day on my profile), which does somehow explains drop of the visitors to the personal website.

I do understand, that because I was advertising on the net for a while, so most of the guys think. "Yes, I've seen this WG website before, and she is not suitable for me, so no point to look on it again"

Ok, even 65 visitors per day accumulate to almost 2000 visitors per month. Maybe sounds a lot, but I only seen 3 new clients since September, and even then they found me on Adultwork. The most of the income comes from regulars.

I am just thinking: to abandon my website, (as I need to pay ?100 hosting for the next year today), and just rely on Adultwork (at least its free), and on income from regulars, as it seems quite pointless to have website now.

I agree with Samantha.  AW can be a bit tyrannical at times, and if they do remove your profile (usually for no reason whatsoever) then at least you still have your website.  Plus some websites don't allow you to advertise on their sites if you only have an AW profile.

i dont do videos for my website.  so what should they be doing for me for the hosting money that i pay them?  As the guy I pay says its just to keep me online and i do eveything myself.

There's a lot of free websites out there where you won't pay any hosting (I pay zero pounds for mine). But Websites need to be revamped all the time: new photos, new text, a blog, etc... Then you need key words so it can be SEO'd (like for example: if you're a Russian escort that should be the first thing you should write so when people google "Russian escort" they'll find you. You need to work on your marketing much more because I miss many things in your site: a touring calendar in the site so that clients know where to find you on what dates, your age (are you young,mature?). your height (are you tall, short?), bust size, Also: photos look unproffesional and not very flattering (which is a shame because I can tell you're very pretty). I would definately get a new website or completely change the one you have now (cause it looks a bit "sluggish"' like you haven't changed it for a long time -my impression-). I would make it a bit more "sassy". In todays super competitive market we do need active and exciting websites otherwise your stats fall down....and down.

Ana: I did optimised my website for the all main SE. For example if you type: "Russian Escort Midlands", my website will be the first on the Google search page. Its also linked to all major directories (Punterlink, Punternet, UkAdulzone, UkBelles, Escortslist, Captain69, Adultwork, and few others).
I never thought that professional photographs are necessary, as before the amateur ones done the job very well, and I did updated them once every 3-4 months until a year ago. My pictures are not that bad, surely? :-(
Yes, my website definitely need re-vamp, but I kind of give up now, as I lost the motivation, after seeing the stats. Yes, I do have all details on my site like height, bust, size, etc. (apart of age, which I removed 5 months ago). Can't do the tour calendar, as I never tour. I do know that blog would help tremendously, but then you need a time for it. (at least to write a decent thought through one).
Ok, my availability extremely limited. I only accept 7-8 appointments per month, and with at least 3-4 days notice, which cuts about 80%-90% enquirers I am getting, because they are not suitable.  Hence I think, is it worth to keep website going, if you only can acquire dozen or so proper clients per year from it. (if that!). More time, and cost involved then its worth. Maybe just remove it for a year or so, and continue to see regulars and occasional new client from Adultwork.

A website is definitely worth it, if only to reply to texts with the website and tell people to read it rather than have to answer endless emails at times! LMAO! I get over 100 visits a day without doing anything to it, when I blog the hits go over 700! I could do a hell of a lot more with mine but I get enough at the moment to not let it worry me, it is there mainly so I can link swap with other sites.

Oh and I pay less than ?50 a year for it, would never entertain paying much more than that but then I've got previous experience running websites etc.

3 years ago my website was getting around 3ooo hits a week it's now roughly 1500 a week
I pay 2o a month to my webmaster fr my hosting and any changes problems that I need are sorted out straight away
