I have a booking tomorrow and I have not been able to find them on the phone book website, they are not registered at the address they gave me as their home. Nothing else seems odd, should I got with my guts? Should I ask to see ID when I get their? Or get them to send me a copy of their ID?!

Looking in the phone book isn't a security check, it's a timewaster check. When I can't verify an address I offer to go if the client pays a deposit so I know he's not messing me about. Others ask for a scanned utility bill.

I have had outcalls where the house/flat is in the parents/landlords name not the occupier. I have to ask for it though, I doubt I would head out if I could not check all things were okay.
Make sure you leave details of wherever you go with somebody, there is a buddy system on here, go check that out.

Looking in the phone book isn't a security check, it's a timewaster check.

It's security for me - it confirms that my safety people have the actual address I am going to before I go there.

I have never used either one. I google earth their shit, and so I know exactly what the house/hotel/apt looks like before I even get there. It pinpoints the exact location so I know exactly where to go.
