vivastreet add ons
« on: 10 December 2013, 08:38:58 am »
Does anyone use any of the Vivastreet add ons? I've actually done ok out of Vivastreet, I got a special deal on advertising for the first time because of SAAFE :) I would like to repost with them as its sent a few bookings my way, but I was curious as to whether or not anyone used the additional features of it.

It gives premium, highlight and auto repost. To use premium its ?60 for 10 days (:o) alone, but it seems to keep you at the top of the page. Part of me thinks well, when I used the Sport it was ?40 for one publication so ?60 across 10 days isn't all that different I suppose. I was also wanting to try out Escort Scotland so I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket with just Vivastreet as my main paid advertising. I've never knowingly had a booking from Punternet, although now I've been asking callers where they saw me advertised to gauge where I should be focusing on.

I started advertising there recently using feature/new/repost etc.

Reposting is worth the money.  Not sure about the rest.

I have spent ?60 some months to advertise in there I think ?30 is sufficient with just reposting it twice daily.

I like going in there and although at this time of year there are some timewasters who reply to you on the whole it is fine for me.

I think it depends on the region where you live however!

I began putting ads on there as AW was going a bit quiet ....

I agree - I groaned about it at first, but on the whole I've found Vivastreet alright to be honest. A bit of a step up from the Sport, generally a bit younger than the usual Sport crowd. I do wonder where they have moved on to - last I heard the Sport had started making escorts use their 070 number and as a result it didn't seem to have the same returns as before.

AW has gone a bit quiet for me too, but I think thats maybe the lull before the manic Christmas week as most of my work seems to come from AW. I set a min target of ?1800 this month and I'm over halfway there (I've paid off bills etc which has taken a chunk out, but at least I'm up to date on things now for 2014 coming in). If I can get up to ?2500 I may just pay off my car insurance for the year which means I have money left over for Christmas shopping and a very nice rainy day fund ;D. I have found VS really helpful for bumping up income - its mostly 30 min bookings I seem to have gotten but 2-3 30 mins a day is a nice ?140-210 a day so I'd like to continue using it into 2014. Right now I've no plans to tour so the unlimited location change isn't a requirement.

Will definitely try the repost option then, highlight didn't seem to have much appeal to me but was umming and ahhing about the premium.

have just sent you a pm on viva st  -  also if you repost / and do other featured stuff apart from the 5./10 day main featuring you need to do it when you set up your advert otherwise you will be paying for another standard advert as well as reposting as they run at the same time so it can work out expensive
