How long did it take you
« on: 10 June 2010, 12:27:03 am »
Hi all
I?m wondering how long it took you to get going and start working once you made the decision to become an escort?

I feel like I must be doing something wrong, I decided some weeks ago to return to the world of escorting after a long break, having found this forum which is fantastic and has already helped me no end  I feel like I?m up to date with how much things in the industry have changed since I last worked.

I have a website ready, AW profile all but ready, links, new lingerie, working clothes, condoms etc, etc but there are a couple of things holding me back one is a place to have incalls the other photos for my website, AW profile oh and one other thing a buddy!

I am just about to put a post on the buddy page for someone in my area (Glasgow), I have been in touch with a lady who?s flat I can use but she?s always so busy I?m having a hard time pinning her down so we can meet and the photographer I found has disappeared.  Arrgh!

I?m feeling a little more than frustrated now having made the decision to go back to work I really just want to get going but it seems to be taking so long.

Did things go smooth for you when you were starting out?

Thanks in advance
Baby Swan x

Im planning to visit Glasgow myself next week and would like any hints on where to stay.
find out exactly how and why a man hoping to escort women for a living has more chance of plaiting fog, and better earning prospects on Jobseekers Allowance.

Hi,

Oh darling your doing fine really you are? I am in the same boat totally. I had to give up escorting October of last year & I am still trying to get back to work as an indie, and still am not completely ready??? just like you it has been one thing after another. With me it has been mainly confidence & money, but the confidence is getting me hard every step I take. If you don't mind me asking what do you think it is that is holding you back, maybe we can help? but if you don't want to say then that's fine.

Again want to say you sound like a business ready to launch, so crack open the champagne & be proud of what you have achieved so far, the rest will come :)

Harlow xx

Babyswan I'm in Glasgow, feel free to pm me  for a chat or whatever and I will give you my number.  It does take time.  I got the initial idea in my head to do this last November and it was about April before I had my first client by the time I arranged website, pics, ads etc and started to get any interest.  Good pics can make a massive difference though I can't stress this enough (imho).

Good luck it will all fall into place before you know it!  xx

Hi

Thank you so much for your replies I was beginning to think it was just me who could not seem to get organized or I was missing something.

Cindy, sorry I can?t help on best place to go in Glasgow, not only am I new to the job I?m new to the area so have no idea.

Harlow, nice to know someone?s feeling the same, it?s not confidence with me I?m raring to go but missing two vital ingredients! Anyway I got so pissed off with it all I got a very close friend to take some photos of me, they?re not the best but the will do for now and decided to go for outcalls only which I was a little uncomfortable with, kind of out of my comfort zone, but I knew if I didn?t do something soon I would have too much time to think about it all and change my mind but needs must.

My profile on AW went ?live? this morning and I had 3 bookings by T time!!

I meet my first tonight and I have to say I really wasn?t that nervous at all and it all went very well so I?m feeling inspired now.
I hope you manage to get going soon there?s nothing worse than waiting around x

Cherrylips, thanks for the offer I really, really appreciate it x
I have PM you x

Its taken me about 3 weeks to decide but I have now started as an indie

I was really nervous going into the hotel reception . It felt like everyone was looking at me and knew why I was there

When I got to the guys (punter/client ?) room I  chickened out and walked past it

When I then tried a second time, a couple were just coming out of the next room and were messing with suitcases

At my third try i just knocked on the door and he opened it straight away.

He knew it was my first time  and he was was very nice

Im 30  he was mid fifties

I have seen a couple of other guys since and its gettng less scary
