First off what was it like when first on AW.  1000's of non genuine emails from all the creeps that like to waste a new girls time, once you weed these out things get better  (remember to block them though or they will just keep on and on).

As for how long to get a booking, it varies, on your area, your profile, your rates etc etc etc.  You could get a booking or two the same day or you could wait weeks.  No one can tell.  You could be a set of twins with identical profiles and one will be busy straight away and the other wont.  There is no rhyme or reason ot it.  It just depends who looks at your profile and when.

I will say mae sure you have your boundaires clearly stated at least once in your profile.  Mine are on two pages of mine as I find some people do not read and just skim it.
Also make it clear what you are happy to offer and if there are an extra charges for certain services.

Keep your profile as concise and simple as possible as horny men do not seem to be able to read between the lines or even understand big words. 
Most off all play up all your good points and never be negative about yourself in anyway

I was writing a response and then saw Dani?s response and I agree with the comments.

Obviously how quickly things take off depends on each individual girl, where they advertise (in this case you?ve said AW), the content of their profile, rates, services offered and timing can be a big factor too.

As a new girl on the block, I?d imagine you?ll likely to get a lot of interest in the first few weeks thanks to AW?s policy of emailing newbie alerts to registered members. Whether this results in lots of bookings straightaway or you find you become a magnet for the TWs I can?t say. Hopefully more of the first than the latter!

Simple things like making sure you complete as much of your profile as you can (to make sure you come up in as many searches as possible), a clear and well written profile along with good photos should help things start off the right foot for you.

I had a very good start with AW and it?s still a big money maker for me, but as with anything it?s best not to put all your eggs in one basket. Once you?ve got the hang of it look at diversifying your advertising.

I think my rates are kind of mid range (?240 ph does that sound too much?) but I hope as the new girl it doesn't scare blokes off.

Very true but you also need to factor in how busy you would like to be.
The higher you go the less foot traffic you?re likely to get. Some girls are more than happy with only seeing  1 or 2 guys a week so rates like ?250ph, ?500.00ph or whatever are fine. But it is bit more a gamble in my opinion (and your costs for advertising are likely to be higher to attract guys willing to pay these sums). What if you have a few really slow weeks when the big bookings aren?t easy to come by? The luxury of having mid or low prices is that yes even though you have to do more work to make what the higher priced girls make at least it?s easier to find guys willing to pay those prices so you?re much more likely to have a steady stream of an income rather than suffering from massive peaks and troughs. Just my opinion, I?m not a financial analyst or anything!

If you want a realistic rate take a look at other girls in your area with the same age and build and services as you and go from there.  It all depends where you are. 
No one can tell you what rate you feel happy with. 

I think as well you want to factor  in and expect the wfactor which can be taken as either wow or wankers
Wow because you will probably get lots of emails,  Sadly most will be from Wankers  It will be your skill at sorting out the chaff from the wheat
Also once you have a bit of cash behind you i would start advertising / creating websites on other sites
Adult  can work brilliant for some on its own but for most you need additional advertising websites marketing ect  of course it depends on how much you want to earn and your prices and how many clients you want to see
