I  agree 100% that texting is a complete no-no.

I treat my Escort business the way I would any other profession ie; mobile hairdresser No1 being that I do not indulge potential clients in Text chat.

I get the impression that you don't have a website though and need to give the details that your Ad won't allow?

I would keep it light and soft, but definately get it out there in the shortest of times and emphasize all the positivies that come along as a package with you - maybe you are  non-rush/limit your bookings/like to spend time indulging/being indulged / do not limit to 1 orgasm only etc, etc ( -surely there is a more poetic phrase for that?  :-\ )
As that kind of stuff is on my website, I simply don't answer anything personal and I tell them this at the begining of the call.

My mobile hairdresser texts me all the time to confirm or alter my appointment!
Which annoys me as much as client texts.
I'll have to get her to read your post.

I get a lot of work from local papers, where only my name phone number and location appear.
I don't mind giving the essential info, s l o w l e y, to callers as I need them to know those details
prior to booking an appointment.
I can get that stuff over to them in about thirty seconds flat.

If a call goes on for two+ minutes it is most likely a timewaster.
"I'm going now, bye!" and I hang up mid conversation.
The genuine ones then phone back and book straight away.
I start that latter conversation with
"What date, time, duration  would you like to book now and is this an Incall or Outcall?"
I'd say that sentence a max of two times before blacklisting them.

I HATE TEXTS.
