How do I start?
« on: 14 July 2010, 03:12:09 pm »
Hi there

I am a 30 year old who has being unemployed for the past 6 mth and in the current climate finding it difficult to gain employment.  I have been considering becoming a escort/companion for the past 2-3 mths.  I have browsed websites and read plenty of info on various sites.  I have now come to the point where I have made the decision to take the next step and actually  become a escort/companion. My issue is I dont know the best way to go about doing this.  Do I go with an agency? Do I do it alone? What should I charge? etc

A bit about me, I am a confident person with a bubbly personality and have a range of interests from going out for a quiet meal, theatre, cinema, to nights out clubbing.  I am situated in Leeds West Yorkshire and at present want to work within a 25 mile radius to begin with.

If anyone can give me their advice or any contacts that will be able to help me I will be very grateful.

Thanks in advance

Every bit of advice you need is on the main site.  There will also be similar threads on the forum, well worth investing a large chunk of time reading though everything.  And then re-read it.

After all that, if you still want to do it, set yourself up with a free adultwork profile and bite the bullet. Whilst there is money to be made, do not under-estimate the psychological demands/effects.  You need to be tough and thick skinned in this business, not for the faint-hearted.  That said, I love it.

Sometimes you just want to be able to speak to someone who gets it. I'm available for in-person sessions in Edinburgh or online

Hiya Caroline

Nice to meet you, welcome to the site  :)
Congratulations on your pontential new career, how exciting!
I noticed that you mentioned that you like to be an escort/companion? The "companion " part leads me to believe that you may be looking at providing non-sexual services as this is the terminology that the scam "make ?500 a 2 hour dinner date" agencies tend to use. If this is this case..AvOID AvOID AvOID these agencies. They will take a "registration fee" and you will never hear from them again. There is little to no market for "social" escorting.
If I have just jumped massively to conclusions and this is not the case, follow Pandoras advice and read the main sites info..its invaluble!

Good Luck!
