How did you find saafe?
« on: 16 January 2009, 11:31:11 pm »
I know that i had been 'doing my research' for months in a pretty hap hazzard kind of way.  I had no idea about working independantly until i found saafe and realised it could be done in a way where i felt comfortable going it alone.  Until i found saafe i had pretty much resigned myself to only being able to escort if i went with an agency but i can never remember how i actually found the site.  I remember being suprised that i hadnt come across it throughout the months and weeks i had spend googling every variation on 'how to escort' or 'starting escorting' etc so i assume i must have found the link or banner on another site but I just wondered if anyone else remembers how they found it?  Or was it a happy accident  for everyone else too :)

Actually, when I typed into google.com (not sure how google.uk is) I simply put, 'escort advice'. SAAFE is the 1st result to show up.

I had been thinking about escorting and looking into it for months with little success, trying to find my way into the industry. I too thought the only way I could go was to sign up with an agency and escortopia (yes, them) had me just about ensnared.

Frankly I was thinking I had to try SOMEthing, but the day before I was about to go to the bank to deposit the fee they were asking for, I felt so uneasy. I just knew what they were saying was far to good to be true.

So I again googled the word Escortopia - and top of the search list came a heading from a topic about them on Saafe. I clicked on the link and started reading - 3 or 4 hours later I was still drinking in the information on the main site and the forums and had filled a notebook with comments, links and questions. Finally I got the guts to register and post my first anxious question - really just looking for extra confirmation that the agency was a scam, which I got.

I then spent days reading every single post on the forum, nosing around the sites of the ladies on here and starting to post some topics.

I haven't looked back since, so thank you Escortopia for leading me to saafe.

Ahh, Cassie that may be how i found it now you mention it.  I did go through the escortopia phone call but i didnt fall for it because i was told too many unrealistic things about police checks on men even if they were from japan or the US.  It just didnt make sense to me that that could actually happen so i came home to do more research about them.  Maybe thats when Saafe popped up.

I'm pretty sure i had done the 'escort advice' search many times before so i'm confident it wasnt from that one.  But of course i've just done that and saafe pops up so maybe it was the one search id not done.  Who knows.

Ha ha! Nice to know they're good for something.

That's good to know. I know that the main site itself has a Google page ranking of 3 out of 10, which is very good when you consider MSN Uk is 6 out of 10.

I too thought that I could only work through an agency, and I nearly signed up to a local one, as I had gained the impression it was too dangerous to be an independant. It was from this site that I realized I can basically do the same tw checks (at the agency they said 192.com was a security check) and as long as I had a security buddy or someone who knows where I am im just as safe being independant as agency. I often think im so glad I found this site as I wouldnt have liked working for an agency, giving away a big share of the money I earn and not being able to choose my clients  :) I can't remember exactly how I found this site but im pleased I did, and its the only escort related site I ever visit, apart from punternet to check my reviews! xx
