Home<->Workplace... to home or not to home, that is the question
« on: 02 September 2011, 06:12:07 pm »
Hi ladies,
could you give me some advise?
My dubt:"Renting one more flat or using my home as workplace?"

As I'm still a "brand new", I wouldn't like to pay double rent (home and workplace) for living because I don't know yet my future income and personally I'm not very keen on spending money only in base of a presumed gain, but  working and living  in the same place could arouse some suspiction.
How did/would you solve the problem?  ???
Thank you

Advertise in the seeking section for an apartment to rent by the day or hour  ;)

IMO its not very safe to work from your own home  :-\

I work from my own home, and have never had any problems at all.

I started off working from home and 5 years on i have deceided i want my home back, i have found a lovely apartment and it is a great feeling, i now can now divide work from home life and when i leave the apartment i leave work.

I never really had an problems with working from home, but would not advise it looking back, i have had clients driving up and down my street many a time, and they can find out your real identity easily. I wish i had got the apt in the first place, yes it is a costly outgoing but one that is worth it. I had new neighbours move in with 2 babies so i felt it was only right to relocate, and the noise from the kiddies were off putting.

You never feel like its your home as you have to keep it spotless all the time, keep paperwork out of the way and valuables, keys ect ect, you find that good friends and family do not visit you as much.

Good luck in whatever you deceide

if you rent  and dont have kids/ family then it might be worth moving to say a  2 bed flat  in a big block where you can have one bedroom to work from  and one that is yours and live there full time  if i were in that position thats what i would do  i would get the best flat in a good area  and good block and live and work from it

Renting a seperate flat ( i have done this in the past is ok but it can be stressfull  ( if you go away then  your still paying double rent home and work ect but you could depending on where your located to rent the apartment out on the days that your not working which if you rented it out 3 days you would probably be able to charge 80 -100 a day which would more than cover the cost of the rent and make you a bit  of money as well

down side is renting out to other girls can be a pain in the ass unless you know that they wont f...  it up for you

I'm another who doesnt believe in working from home especially for security and anonymity reasons.  There is also the chance that a numpty will come to your door unannounced when you have finished.

It is so worth having a separate apartment to work from to have the peace of mind you get when you walk out the door and turn the key and know that you can switch off.

On saying that too, you have to be careful that you pick the correct area to get your apartment in.  Wrong location could mean losing out on many clients as they are not willing to visit the area you get.  May be because they see it as not a good area or perhaps they find it too difficult to find.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

And the cops can bust you too.
I'd never rent out a room  to another escort for them to see clients, mainly for that reason.

yes they can, but you would have to be super unlucky for that to happen to you  and  lots of escorts  do it ,
the real problems are neighbours , and girls that dont respect your rules about working from another persons flat
i have rented several flats when touring from other escorts  and i have always respected there rules and never had a problem

I work from home and have also rented another flat (and sublet to a fellow escort). All bases covered.

I live in a respectable quiet, discreet neighbourhood and never have had any problems. I have never had anyone turn up unexpectedly.  I do not offer quickies and see no more than 2 a day, (that would be a lot at the mo!). It is not going to draw attention.  The benefit is that timewasters do not majorly inconvenience me for a no show, it is cheaper and I do not have to travel.

When I had a second base I would turn down appointments because I could not be bothered to travel if the guy sounded even a tiniest bit uncertain.  The timewasters really did bug me.  Also the girl I sublet to was not very reliable with the rent.  All in all much better to work from home and tour out of hotels for variety.

i used to work from hotels, then shared a work flat with my friend, but that didnt last long as it is illegal for two ladies to share a flat as it is classed as a brothel, we got kicked out...

i know work from my private home with a separate room for clients, but i only see my regulars at my home, i tour around alot so i only work in my home town 2 days a week!

my advice if you want to work from home only accept bookings from gents with relevant escort feedback on adultwork and explain discretion is needed.
