Definitely! Especially when the client isn't really sure what he wants...It also attracts a lot of timewasters wanting to discuss details before, I just say that I won't talk about services before the booking but we can have a few minute chat at the start to clarify the type of session he's looking for, then he has to leave it to me.
I think sometimes girls get sick of fucking and sucking and think becoming a Domme is an easy alternative, it really isn't! Also even the most sub clients have very high expectations of their Domme and can sense inexperience straight away. Also the equipment is vast, I've spent a good few thousand on my dungeon and that's not including the fetish furniture.

If something is not perceived it doesn't exist.

Yes its definitely not an easy option  :o I first got into it after being asked loads by clients and was introduced to the dominatrix woman, I thought give it a try its an extra string to my bow and it tends to give a longer 'shelf life' than escorting (she was 62 then) so if it gets to the point where I don't want/can't have sex with clients there's always these other skills that I can be self employed in.

I don't have tons of equipment, I've got quite a bit but probably not half as much as you Nia,  although I have bought some myself,  a lot of mine has been brought for me by clients and I've also learnt a lot from them as well.  I do quite a bit of humiliation too, and being able to pull the 'bitch resting face' whilst looking down on them helps haha.

If you want to start, start of small first i.e tie and tease and spankings or roleplay i.e humiliation, see if you can not find a domina in your area who is prepared to train you, you will also find from time to time that there are Masters and Dungeons out there who offer up training courses in bondage etc.

There is so much you can get into but remember tie and tease is not just limited to a bed but also a chair, you get door restraints etc.

Hi!
Thank you for all answers. I should have made clear that I have experience of being a Domina in my private life, and that I?m naturally dominant as a person. But I guess it?s different with a client, and it would be nice to talk to someone who?s been working as a Pro Domina for advice.

If you are thinking of starting some good advice has been given already, and yes it is physically draining especially when you get 2-3-4 hour sessions, let it flow if you know what you are doing, if not you will find you are just stumbling through the session, a lot of PD's have tried and just think give them a quick whip or stick a strapon on, it's not about that, fantasy and fetish with a great imangination is always key!
My advice don't look at the American Porn Pro DOMME clips, look at British ones or German, get yourself a website done, get on as many fetish sites as possible, and as nia suggested get a lot of equipment, I have spent umpteen thousands and have bespoke furniture, and clearly set your limits, I.e do you do SCAT? Needle play....etc
You get a lot of TW's but there are serious submissives who want the correct session, and will tell you what they want down to the tee, but foremost you are in charge, they listen and act, you are there superior when in your presence, don't ask ' is this ok for you?' Set rules at beginning and if you are doing full on BDSM session set clear the rules and if needed code words at beginning of session, and don't just jump into a full on session straight away, also learn how to spank and whip without leaving marks! That's a good one as some love it but remember they have families and partners, it's an art!
Hope this helps

Some Domme sessions are set in a domestic setting so no rush for hardcore equipment, just a few basics and as Miss M said your attitude and presence is the crucial thing in sessions,

Thank you all for good advice, they?re very helpful. I?m curious about it, and will start with soft dominance with a client next week.

Sorry to hijack this thread. After a few dabbles in offering this as a service and thjnkjng about my long term career, ive decided that i want to go down this route. So,  at some point soon, i'd like to pay a pro Domme to learn from. Do you think pro's would be willjng to do that, knowing that im going to set my own domme service up?

To learn from a pro, would i ask to pay to watch her work? Or be on the receiving end?

I don?t know with a Domme, but as someone suggested in this thread, you could also have a Master to train you if you can?t find a Domme, even though it?s not quite the same thing. I will have a Master to train me, he will guide me and then switch for me to practice. Good luck!

There are some that run "Lessons" or maybe email someone in your area. Are you in or near London?

You need to be trained by an experienced mistress, it can take years to learn, the clients know right away if you are a novice, theres wrong and right ways to hit people with hand, cane and whips.
The best way is to specialise into a couple of things that you can learn easily enough, then just advertise your speciality, start with the simple things like school teacher etc.
It is a lot harder than you think and you will be competing with others who have dungeons with all sorts of equipment that they have acquired over years of trading.
good luck anyway.
