Hiya figure what you want to do, as to benefits be EXTREMELY CAREFUL,THEY ARE NOT NICE PEOPLE!!!. You need to declare asap to the dwp. These days they check with a fine tooth comb. Save a bit of money and come off it,( especially if you do not have kids or such) it is more pain than its worth (what they provide peanuts, you can not support yourself , with so much angst, rudeness and aggravation

and absolutely no tangible support. Again if you do not have kids come off it as soon as you can and in the mean time declare your income.
When you sign off finally, declare your self as self employed and depending on what you earn you can get help/part rent and maybe working tax credit (of course declare everything honestly cos they are not kidding around, they even now come to your

house to check facts !!) Best of luck
