Cyprus Bunnies - Anyone Fancy A Holiday?
« on: 17 July 2011, 10:16:28 pm »
Ok ok I know the "come whoring in Cyprus - We'll pay for everything!" emails have been doing the rounds again lately but I was wondering if anyone had seen this one from Cyprusbunny on AW?

Quote
Hi

My name is Kate from Cyprus Bunnies; we run a holiday - escort service on the island of Cyprus. We are looking for "guest escorts" who would like to combine a holiday with some lucrative work on the island. Please see further information on our website www.cyprusbunnies.co.uk

If you are interested in a "free working holiday", please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes

Kate

The website mentioned looks good and they don't promise the earth so they seem more believable than the ones who offer to pay for your flights, set up your meets, wine you and dine you etc

So what do you think? Legit? Or should I resign myself to the fact that I'm not getting a holiday this year? lol

I am a cynic by nature when it comes to this business.

So contact them to see what's what.

From what I can see from the website, you need to pay your own airfare and they provide the accommodation and bookings.

Ask yourself:

If they fall through with their offer of accommodation and work, where will you stay and how will you pay for food etc.

As they are paying for the accommodation what cut of our earnings are they going to take?

And how many clients will you have to see.  Will you get anytime to go and enjoy yourself and have a holiday?

As they are not paying for your flights will they guarantee you accommodation?  They may change their minds if things are not working in their favour and leave you high and dry.

Is it legal?  Or do you leave yourself open to arrest?

And if you just make enough to pay for holiday over there, will you be able to pay your bills back at home.

Sorry for all the questions but like I said, I am a cynic.

Where do the clients come from?
Lets see.
http://www.cyprusbunnies.co.uk is a recruiting site; no ads there.
http://www.cyprusbunnies.co.uk/contact-us.php says: Email: kate@cyprusbunnies.com
But   cyprusbunnies.com  goes nowhere!
It was  registered in May but there is no site up.
This looks so dodgy!

I suggest you email her and ask where the clients come from?
ie where they advertise, what is the web address?

Advanced fee fraud, is a good thing to read up on, in advance.

"MissArcaBunny  the way you come across and your photos
indicate to us that You are exactly the type of escort we are looking for.
I know for a fact that we will be able to provide you with at least 5 quality clients per day.
Of course this is also your holiday, so YOU decide how much work you do.

ArcaBunny (may I call you this),
We've arranged a special deal with Cyprus Airways, to keep the cost of  your flight down.
Instead of the standard flight fee of ?235,
we can arrange for you, a discounted price of ?155.00
We can also arrange accommodation in the Capo Bay hotel Four star hotel
where we know you won't have any problems.
The hotel rate is  ?609 / 7 nights @?87 per night.
But we can get this for only ?301 / 7 nights @?43 per night

The total price for the flights and hotel is ?456.

We both know that you, ArcaBunny, are going to make a lot of money while you are in Cyprus.
And the best part is that you don't have to pay us the full sum till the end of your holiday.
However, we do need a 25% deposit to show good faith on your part.
Which is only ?114.00!
ArcaBunny, please email me the dates you wish to have a working holiday.
Also send ?114.00  via Western union.
Account name: I have just stolen your money, sucker!

I look forward to us meeting at our luxury office and introducing you to our team,
before arranging a limo to take you to the Capo Bay hotel
Yours,
Could be anyone, this is the internet after all.

Actually, that's pretty good. I think I've just found a new career after I:
Quit Escorting /Retire from the FBI / Pass my GCSE'S

If you buy your own holiday though,
you are not at risk of being abducted, scammed, robbed, trafficked or arrested.
A holiday should be just that, a holiday.

Wow Jodie, if for some reason you can't escort anymore you'd really make loads of money as a scammer ;D
