Evening Primrose....
« on: 23 January 2009, 07:49:32 am »
To the lady that suggested those with sore boobs take Evening Primrose supplements a while back - I would like to say, thank you!
I bought some after reading that post and have only been taking them for about 3 weeks yet the improvement is incredible.
Along with the sore boobs I would get a few days of depression before a period. I think depression is a bit strong a word but the blues seems too weak a word - so somewhere in between then - lethargic and down in the dumps, wanting to not talk to people and see people, snappy at home, you know the sort of thing, but a seriously bad case of not wanting to go anyplace and see anybody and I go deadly quiet - that was always the worst for me...
I have had this - yesterday, but feel a lot better today and that is a fast turnaround as normally it lasts a good 3 days.
My boobs I know are tender but far, far from the agony they were before when I would have to strap them into some sort of boulder holder to stop movement and keep the chill out!
I don't remember who it was that suggested this supplement but it has worked out for me, so far, so, thank you!
Jo
They're working on Viagra for women. Are they crazy? That's been around for hundreds of years - its called cash... Alonzo Boden.

I'm so glad the EPO has worked for you! I think all women should take them. Great stuff ;D

Joanna I'm really please that it is working so well for you, there is nothing worse than having to walk around with your arms crossed just to stop them from moving and hurting.

I just have to say unfortunately EPO did sod all for me when I tried it (took it for 3 months), so it does depend on the individual.
But I would say that anyone with PMS and/or high cholesterol should give it a try as long as they are not scizophrenic.
Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the ground in the morning, Satan shudders and says: "Oh shit, she's awake!"

I didn't know it helped with high cholesterol - I have a family member who is on medication for this and I might recommend it once I've found out a bit more. Does it have side effects, Dr Cassie? ;D
