Question about agency cuts
« on: 16 April 2012, 09:55:16 pm »
hiya!
I am VERY new to all of this and applied to a few agencies in my area recently. I followed some of the advice i found on here and checked out the websites, other girls, reviews, and even the process of booking 1 before i signed up to make sure they were real agencies (not scams).
I got a reply from 1 agency, they advertise that they charge ?120 for first hour and ?100 for additional hours... but when i asked what the rates of pay were like she replied "We charge ?120 an hour. Pay girls ?50 an hour whilst in bookings plus you get a driver" this means it is split 50/50ish....
Is this amount about normal and expected,, as i read on here they usually take around 30-40% ??
Any help would be VERY much appreciated.
Thanx
:)

Hi,

Yes, it's a big cut for them. Perhaps they don't realise that agencies need escorts far more than escorts need agencies. What is it that you/they think they can do for you that is worth so much?
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

I'm sure you're right, but I don't see any point in haggling with them. Tell them politely thanks, but you'll take your business elsewhere.

If they're actually keen to have you on their books they might offer you a more usual rate, and if not you've just saved yourself handing over more than half of your earnings to somebody who hasn't been anywhere near a punter and has just answered the phone a couple of times.

That doesnt sound alot to me.
I live in the South and we arent in the richest of areas although there are alot of businesses around..
Its ?150 for 1 hour incall or outcall in the area. The agency take ?50 and I get ?100.
?160 if we have to travel more than a few miles and after midnight. I then get ?90 and agency gets ?40 and we pay the driver ?30.

Our agency are quiet good as well we are allowed round their houses or other girls houses if we cant wait around at home for an appointment and they give us houses for incalls and sometimes buy us the odd bottle of wine, take away etc - obv not let us get drunk and visit a client lol!

Sometimes it's not the youngest or the richest clients you want or the ones you have most in common with.

For me the perfect partner is one where I never have to be myself.
