Keep asking question after question here,apologies if its getting dull

Maybye i should just write a big list and have done with it!

So the 64 million dollar question for today is this. I am thinking of working for more than one agency and I'm puzzled as to how to work out my hours. Do i have to have separate working hours for both agencies or can i give them both the same hours and hope that appointments don't overlap?

Any advice much appreciated as always

Sorry that I've not been able to offer much advice re: agencies. I worked for one in my early days for all of about two months, and being a BBW I really didn't get much work from them. So I know very little about them.

The advice I would offer is don't put yourself in any position where appointments overlap. It does not give a professional standard that you need to keep for building a reputation and working relationship with Agencies. You can't go on a hope and a whim if you allocate time for each agency set the hours aside and accomodate your needs otherwise you will end up in a mess with client bookings and messing the Agency and its reputation x

Think i will just stick with the one agency for now (going on their calendar from Monday) and see how it goes for the time being. I certainly have no wish to be seen as being either unreliable or unprofessional,in fact i would hate it as they are both traits that drive me crazy in other people!

Sasha- Your situation is different to mine i think cos I'm only part time and don't have that many hours to spread around! If its any help though i did speak to one agency that said it wouldn't object to you being on more than one agencies books as long as you weren't on call for both at the same time and appointments didn't overlap,so it might be workable if you've got enough hours to split between them both. Where i live Ive noticed ladies on 2 different agency sites (sometimes more) with the same hours of availability! not to be recommended i wouldn't have thought,unless you want to be so muddled up you end up forgetting everything including your own name!
