Has this happened to any other ladies - "A gut feeling "?
« on: 23 April 2024, 05:07:06 pm »
Hi

Had a guy going contact me for a overnight.  I was really excited, because I have been quite quiet lately. He agreed to my £200 deposit. I asked him to call me. When he did,  he was so monotone and awkward,  it was kind of creepy. He spoke in 1 or 2 word answers. I asked him when exactly he wanted the overnight.  He said "soon". I then asked when exactly.  He said "weekend", I said Saturday  then?  He said "yes".  I then asked "incall or outcall?" He said "outcall my place" I said let me send my bank details by WhatsApp. He said "ok".  I them sent my bank details, but something in my gut, made me delete them again  on WhatsApp, and say "sorry I changed my mind , I'm Not the right escort for you".  He just made me feel very uncomfortable speaking to him, he was dismissive and not really want to speak to me. It made me think that maybe he us like that in real life too.  He texted me that "he is disappointed because I was the girl getting chose and I'm his type" [off topic removed]. However I feel he was genuine but there was just something from our conversation that gave me the creeps.   I feel silly for turning down a large amount of money, when my rent is die next month.......but I just felt something in my gut was not right.  Maybe he was just socially awkward or he wasn't comfortable talking over the phone......Has anyone else had a gut feeling about someone, that felt irrational,  but it just didn't feel right??

Yep always trust your gut.
I won't accept a booking before speaking to them first and that is the reason why.
If you'd have gone ahead with it I bet you'd have been very anxious on the way there and as you say, if he was socially awkward or just plain weird you'd be on edge the whole time.
No money is worth your safety and peace of mind.

If in doubt leave it out. This man sounded like he would be a difficult short booking never mind an overnight!

You did the right thing in cancelling. Better safe than sorry and forget about the 💰 there will be others along soon 😋

Always go with your gut instinct. If something doesn’t feel right about a situation or person then don’t go ahead with it. That should be the number one rule in this profession.

I had someone call me late one night last year and I immediately had a bad gut feeling about him. But I chose to ignore it and met him anyway, only to be assaulted and mugged. This particular client had been abusing cocaine so it wasn’t hard for me to know something was wrong about him when he called. Iv met lots of clients who have been taking cocaine in the past but something felt especially wrong about this client. Our instincts are there to protect us and we must always follow them.

Your safety and well-being should always be paramount and no amount of monetary value should ever get in the way of that.

So he wanted to spend the night with you but wasn't bothered about talking with you on the phone for a couple of minutes? Just this alone has more flags than a communist parade. You did the right thing by getting rid. We stop listening to our guts when we're "desperate" and bad shyte usually will happen  (slow month, rent coming etc...).

Ones that sound dreadful on the phone usually are during their booking. If your made to feel uncomfortable before they even visit and you can cancel on them it's best. In the past I've had really awful men turn up and it's been a nightmare

Thanks ladies for putting my mind at rest. I think when im quieter than usual, i sometimes ignore my gut feeling due to the worry of bills and rent etc. I will try and stop that? Because the universe always come through for me on the end.

Yes he paid me £250 for 2 hours which I had put in my safe. Then he asked for an immediate refund because he couldn’t function properly due to the drugs he had taken. So I told him I’d have to keep £90 as that’s the minimum rate as it was also late at night. But he threatened me and demanded a full refund so I opened my safe then he went through my safe and took all his money back along with stealing £40 of my own money. He then almost ran off with my phones and I was so distraught. I felt totally violated after meeting him as he totally crossed my boundaries. I’m just glad that he didn’t leave any marks on me and it was only £40 that he stolen. He was raising his voice at me in my hotel room which made me feel really uncomfortable as I didn’t want anyone else to hear what was going on.

I wouldn’t have usually accepted his booking but I was trying to save up to go to America. We should never allow ourselves to be in situations where we feel we have to accept a client that makes us feel uncomfortable because we feel we need the money so much.

So sorry this happened to you. I hate when these things happen, it can make you feel so vulnerable. I know you said, its been a year, but i hope he didn't affect you too badly mentally, and I hope you are feeling better now. It can really depress you, and make you want to go home early,  during a tour, when this happens. Word of advice........what i do, when i used to tour is asked the client to go into the bathroom, when he hands over his fee.  Politely ask him to step into the bathroom, while you put away the money. I then put his money separate from my previous takings, that way he will only steal his own money back and not your previous money.  Never ! put the current clients money, with your other money. Dont let the client see your safe either. Make him go into the bathroom. Dont use the safe,  while he is in bathroom. Hide his fee somewhere else in the room.
Stay safe x

I could not agree with you more on this.

I've been doing this for 15 years and one still just got past me.

It's so hard when finances are tight. When I was rolling in money, I would have not given most of them the time of day,

There are some guys out there who I would not wish on anyone x

Thank you and I know it’s so annoying. It put me off from wanting to go back to Birmingham where it happened despite doing very well there for clients. The hotel asked me if I wanted to report it to the police after it happened and I did but they were not very supportive and basically blamed it on myself. I also feel like telling the hotel what happened made everything worse as they put security on the doors at night and stopped anyone who wasn’t registered with the hotel from coming in to basically try and cover themselves. I kicked off on the hotel over this and they threatened to call the police on me!

It was last year when this happened so I’m feeling better now thank you. Yes I went for a spa day in Sutton Coldfield the next day to try and cheer myself up and it was gorgeous and felt much less oppressive than Birmingham!

That’s a great idea. I never have much cash with me anyway for safety reasons but I like that idea of keeping your previous earnings separate. It was suspicious how he waited till very unsociable hours to see me and waited till I’d been there a while. We need to be so careful these days! The cost of living crisis is making people more desperate but he was a wealthy property developer from Solihull so it’s not like he needed the money anyway!
