I have just been doing a recky on the new prices on Vivastreet and to say they have jumped massively - due to what vivastreet say as 'improving services' is putting it mildly.

Prices are now : ?39.99 for normal non feature ad; ?39.99 for 5 days featuring; ?59.99 for 10 days featuring; ?69.99 if you want the option to change location (good for touring but at what cost). There are other costings too, like highlighting your ad but I can't remember the charge for that service or for any others they have increased.

I know I for one will not be paying these prices. There are so many things that you aren't allowed to put in your ad on there and pix - they are so stringent now it aint real.

Blooming heck! I have actually had one genuine sounding enquiry from my VS profile today, but will be thinking long and hard about continuing with them.

Yeah totally beyond a joke Strawberry. They have outpriced themselves considering how they dont allow you to put much in your ad and are so so bad at some of the pix they allow.

Good to know.I visited Scotland first time last month,and I've been very surprised by strict rules with photos on Viva Street.With current prices I don't think I'll continue with them.

It is shocking how much the prices have jumped, I for one not be renewewing my ad when it expires!

I find it pretty pointless paying money for and ad where your limited to what you can say and what pictures you post, but if you look on the top left hand side of the "Escorts and Massage" section there is "Escort Magazine" which is similar layout to Vivastreet buts its free

and you can post what you like and say what you like

I noticed that and did try to submit a listing, however no matter how I entered it it wouldn't accept my phone number and wouldn't let the ad be submitted because it's an essential field. I have emailed as per their contact details and no reply in the last week or so.

I hate how they send an email saying "hello bitches" I wouldn't advertise with them alone on that factor! I remember when it was free. I've moved over to other directories.

Thats disgraceful sending that in an email. I certainly haven't had anything like that or i would be the first to complain. When I did advertise with them I was shocked how much they edited my ad and as for pix they would not allow that is beyond belief.

They don't deserve our custom.

I was rolling my eyes at a 'new escort directory' spam mail the other day that started with "hey hun", but erm, the above would really take the biscuit. Who was it from??

Hi Ruth is your number the same as the viva street add cos if it isnt maybe that is it i tried to make a new account to my viva street one but it wouldn't let me ...so i had to put in all the same details as i have on the viva street one .x

Nope it's the same telephone number. Everytime I entered it I got a message saying something like "you must enter a phone number '0' is not a valid entry". I'll add that I then though perhaps they wanted it in +44 format, so tried it every way I could think of. Still didn't work so sent off an email asking what the problem was, not had a reply yet.

Gosh I certainly won't be going back to advertise with them - they seem to be doing themselves a disservice as who wants to advertise at those rates, particularly since you have to be sooooooo careful with what you put in the damm adverts in the first place.

If I remember correctly, I think they tried to hike the price up a while ago - maybe a year or so ago?

It obviously didn't work as they reduced it again after a very short while..
Maybe if enough of us boycott the damn site for a couple of months the same will happen?

I remember it being completely free when I first Escorted 2 and a half years ago ( even for outrageous hussies like us )

Like everyone else, I too am sick of having my photos removed if I dare to expose even a hint of midriff - and yet scroll down to the bottom of my ad to see * similar ads* and there are half naked underwear shots everywhere?!

Tip; A cunning plan I had of using a Bikini shot instead of undies worked for a while- until I was again-ahem-exposed

- but I really do think it is at the discretion of the Mod who's shift it is at the time you post.. $:-\$
