To my knowledge, there’s usually a clause in private rentals that states that the property should not be used for business purposes.
This would be any ‘work’ on your part that you were conducting from the property. So, if people were dropping off their clothes for you to iron and paying you, this would be an example of running a business from home, so, yes, escorting from the property would be a breach of your terms and conditions.
The property ‘not being used for business purposes’ is a standard clause (I think) but the best thing to do is check your rental agreement.
PS. I live in a rental property and I escort from home BUT not all the time. I live in a quiet area where people keep themselves to themselves. I haven’t checked my rental agreement as it wouldn’t change my decision to work from home. I’ve lived here for a long term (before I even started in the sex industry) and I consider it an acceptable risk.
