I know an agency I used to work with that were apparently kicked out of the apartment they used for bookings.

Think at least one of the neighbours noticed all the comings and goings.

It's my understanding that if more than one girl is working at the property then it's classed as a brothel.

I suppose if a landlord knew the house was being used for business purposes when it should be used only for residential, then they would have grounds to take action.

Other girls on here will have more knowledge than I do x

To my knowledge, there’s usually a clause in private rentals that states that the property should not be used for business purposes.

This would be any ‘work’ on your part that you were conducting from the property. So, if people were dropping off their clothes for you to iron and paying you, this would be an example of running a business from home, so, yes, escorting from the property would be a breach of your terms and conditions.

The property ‘not being used for business purposes’ is a standard clause (I think) but the best thing to do is check your rental agreement.

PS. I live in a rental property and I escort from home BUT not all the time. I live in a quiet area where people keep themselves to themselves. I haven’t checked my rental agreement as it wouldn’t change my decision to work from home. I’ve lived here for a long term (before I even started in the sex industry) and I consider it an acceptable risk.

There are plenty of threads about this already if you do a search for something like 'evicted', but as above you'll almost certainly be in breach of your tenancy agreement and therefore your landlord can evict you. Even the ones which allow working from home don't generally allow for business use that involves members of the public visiting the premises - I'm guessing it invalidates the landlords insurance (or mortgage terms or similar).

As ever the golden rule is be discreet and don't piss off the neighbours :)

You can be kicked out from hotels but it's not illegal so you won't be arrested. Just more of an annoyance because you can lose money.

You use your Brain .

Be discreet . Be respectful to noise volumes and don’t have multiple men visiting all day . Simple really

It’s not risky. Give the client clear instructions on how to get to you. Don’t choose a residential location where there will be window twitchers.
If you are only seeing three or four clients a day it shouldn’t be an issue.

Jenna, you've been posting on the forum for almost ten years. Most of your posts are asking about hotels, so you must have worked from at least some of them?

What is it you're mainly concerned about when you say 'safety'? If you mean personal safety then hotels are safer because there are always lots of other people about; you're also taking a smaller financial risk because the worst thing that can happen is you're asked to leave and you'll have to go somewhere else. Working from your own flat is a much bigger commitment - if you live there too you risk losing your home as well as your workplace, and if you rent a second place then it gets expensive as you'll have two sets of bills to pay.

It's really a matter of what you prefer; I worked from hotels for years and was never asked to leave one but only because I was lucky enough never to have a punter drop me in it. I prefer working from my flat, but it does mean being extremely careful and turning away work if you sense any sort of twattery.

Having worked in all three ways, from my own homes  both rented and owned, rented flats purely for this work and a fair number of hotels offering in calls.  I've not had a single problem but in one or two of the smaller hotels I had a suspicion that the staff knew but nothing ever resulted in my eviction! I would have been horrified and shamed but that's the way I am.

Am currently working from my home but so low volume and my premises is ideal so am fully relaxed about it.  If you use common sense and don't have a landlord who is local then all should be ok. Thousands of us have been doing this for decades and I imagine the number who have been thrown out is tiny.

I've been kicked out of some hotels in London and Hertfordshire but never any rented apartments or flats.

I had my fair share of evictions too.

1). Got kicked out an apartment after 1st client as the office was across the road and I was new and didn’t know what to look for.

2). A client reported me to the hotel.

3). A chambermaid reported me.

4). Reception was too small and I checked out after they knocked.

5). I deliberately worked a keycarded hotel 3 times and I got the knock as I was packing to go.

With the exception of No 5, the rest were many, many years ago.

I was just unlucky.
