Has anyone had a decrease in business since stopping CIM?
« on: 06 November 2017, 03:54:26 pm »
I didn't want to hijack the other thread on prostrate problems.

I'm thinking of stopping this as it's beginning to gross me out.

Could other ladies please say whether it has affected business. Do some of you charge extra?

Feeling puky.  I keep gagging doing oral thinking they're going to spunk in my mouth.

It's having seen brown semen and blood filled that's finished me off! I get asked for Cim a lot!

Hey.  I didn't just stop doing CIM I stopped doing OWO as well 2-3 weeks ago.  It hasn't made as much difference to my business as I thought it would.  It's ticking along nicely.  I've lost about three bookings from it so far, a mixture of clients I'd seen / spoken to before and didn't know I'd changed, or someone who hadn't read my profile.  To be honest with you none of them were people I was particularly bothered about losing.  I used to work abroad and OWO / CIM was almost unheard of in most places I worked.  So I did struggle when I came to work in my home country and it was such a common thing, going from three years of not having done it at all.  Most people, particularly clients who know me well, and new clients who want to be as safe as possible, have been completely fine with it.  If you're only stopping CIM and not OWO then I'd assume you'd see even less of a drop than I have.  I hope that helps whatever you decide :) x

How interesting.  Is that because of sexual health or religious reasons?  Whatever it is, I wouldn't disagree! Safe oral sex!

Sexual health.  In New Zealand it's actually illegal for a sex worker to perform OWO.  Or at least it was when I worked there.  There were signs stipulating this in every room in the parlour I worked in.  It was very, very rare anyone ever tried it on and asked for anything more.  I think two or three times maximum in the whole time I was there.  It never proved to be the "mood killer" "hard on killer" "feeling killer" that all the guys over here seem to like to state that it is.  They never had a problem...because it was what they were used to.

I didn't know!   :o  Did I read somewhere that in Germany, bareback will be an offence?  It must be medical reasons (cross-infection control) where there are risks of potential, lifelong complications from sexually transmittable infections (herpes, cytomegalovirus, hep etc) in susceptible adults, but I stand corrected if that wasn't the case.

I wouldn't know about Germany as I haven't worked there.  But I have worked in a number of different countries and I found the places where sex work is more legalised and "accepted" there tends to be regulations on the more riskier services.  Then the countries where the laws are a bit iffy, like here in the UK, there don't seem to be any laws about what services can and can't be provided, just on the number of people that work in a premises.

I've never thought of that.   :o I'm slightly shocked by my own naivete and by the fact that some governments have the much tighter regulations and measures to protect the health of sex workers, which must be based on their objective safety & medical risk assessment.

Back on topic (since State interference in the life choices of grown adults is covered on a different thread), it's now just over eight years since I stopped.doing OWO and CIM and four (I think) since I stopped doing RO. I can confidently say it's not made any difference to my income and the punters who drifted away because the services were that important to them were just replaced with those who either weren't bothered orwere concerned about safety and hygiene :).

Yes i have heard this and when i worked years ago when i first started here hardly anyone did owo and some establishments would let you go if they found out anybody did owo as it was classed as unsafe and we used to sometimes have the working projects go round working flats bringing condoms and givong advice and they always told us to avoid owo everything with a condom they even provided these dental gams for men doing oral on you like a plastic sheet but nobody really wanted to lick on that i used to gove it to some but most were not that excited by it.

I sometimes lose bookings when I tell guys that I only offer protected sexual contact.  However, for many other guys, the fact that I am prepared to lick their balls plus the shaft of their cock is an adequate substitute for OWO.

I haven't noticed. I still do owo but not CIM. Maybe that makes a difference.

The question remains to be "Is OWO safer than CIM?"  If the risks are the same or almost the same.... ???

I personally don't think punters care as so many other escorts commented on, especially "sensible ones" who know the risks and try to minimise cross-infection if they are in an LTR.   Bless them.  :)

For the man, the risks are the same.
For the receiver, CIM is riskier, especially if semen is held in the mouth for any time, although OWO that was rougher and the back of the throat 'hit' a lot would also carry risks.
