Thrush while being with a client
« on: 09 June 2021, 08:13:35 pm »
Hi everyone,
My story will sound a bit gross (sorry for the graphic words), but I would like to know if someone has ever experienced this as well. I feel very ashamed of that story. Basically, today I went to see a client, everything went normal until he pulled out of me to change position and coming out of the blue... there was some "cottage cheese like" consistency all over him. It's probably a thrush (no smell, white, cottage cheese discharge). Also, I want to mention that I'm currently on antibiotics for urinary infection, which probably triggered the thrush (I extremely rarely get thrushes, got one only in my life previously that's why I was so confused). To come back on the story, he got completely turned off (obviously) and was acting like he is understanding but I could see he was scared. I couldn't stop telling him how sorry I was and felt incredibly ashamed of that. The booking lasted literally 20 min when it was supposed to last 2h. He was a really nice client but probably won't see me again because of that...
Did this kind of thing happened to anyone of you ? If yes, how did you deal with the situation ? And how do you deal with thrush overall when working ?
Please no hate on me
Thank you very much

The antibiotics have probably caused the thrush as they kill off the good bacteria as well as the bad.
If you have a uti it would be better to have a few days off if possible to give the antibiotics time to work as sex can often aggravate the situation.
Use Canaston tabs or Flucanazole is a good generic and much cheaper alternative to get rid of the thrush.

I would never work when I had active thrush, but it's not always as obvious as some people think that you have it. Keep some clotrimazole cream and a fluconazole capsule at home so you're not caught out, and if you have any pain or itchiness use the cream.

A tampon dipped in live natural yoghourt up the vagina a few hours a couple of times a day will also work wonders alongside the medication.

If I feel anything which indicates potential start of thrush I apply Clotrimazole cream, if it starts to take hold then 1 x Fluconazole capsule. I have these already just incase. My first thrush attack was in my early teens, did not know what it was then when I figured it out tried all the home remedies, at that point ineffective. It was pretty awful. I know the signs well so act quickly.

Also very aware of the cases, and am very careful educating partners about minimising transferance from anus to vagina. I've found many simply are not aware of this.
