What Dress Size???
« on: 24 September 2015, 01:36:28 pm »
I have a minor dilemma that I'm sure other ladies have. Depending on the cut and style of clothes and which shop they are bought from, I can be anything from a size 8 to a 16!!!

Roughly speaking, I think I average a 12 most of the time but I am fairly small on top and bigger on the bottom half. What do you ladies who have this problem put on your profile? I don't want to attract guys that prefer a small frame coz no doubt they'll be put off but I don't want to turn away other guys who prefer someone curvy.

I've taken quite a few photos from all different angles so I think it's best to put those photos up and let the men decide for themselves. I'm 5ft ''2'' btw :)

I range from 6-12 again depending on the shop or item of clothing. I just put 10 a safe bet, just incase i'm having a puffier day lol. You can kind of look at yourself and think I look like a size XYZ you know. I'd say I look like a size 10. 10 can a lot fo the time be a bit too big on me and i've had a comment made that i'm more of an 8 but just to be safe idk. Oddly in primark alone my top size is 8 but my jeans size is 12, either it's shit labelling or i'm disproportionate

If you think your a 12 and look like one, go for it. 12 is a reliable size, you wont get those after BBW and you wont get those after super skinny minnies so there is more leway with it to not be egsactly a 12. Most men have no clue what the sizings mean visuals are best lol

I've got a 10 on my agency profile and a 12 on my aw, just to confuse people, lol. I'm a 10-12 on top and a 12-14 on the bottom but I've never had anyone complain about either size before. Most clients who want thin (but not extremely petite) look for a 8-12. Maybe set your size in the middle and add say a 10-12 or whatever in your profile text

Most men seem completely clueless about dress sizes and what they mean, i.e. 6 is not an uncommon size (??), 8-10 is normal, 12 is curvy and 14 is fat! I'd probably put yourself as a 12, and write more in your profile about it varying. Better to say you're a 12 and someone think you're smaller than say you're a 10 and be accused of lying...  ::)

Amen to that!

I'm a size 10 but I put a 12 to give me some leeway. A good strategy to implement, especially in the winter months when all I want to do is eat my body weight in chocolate.

It depends on your height at as well. At 5ft 2  a twelve could be fat / obese depending on your build but if your 5ft 8 then 12 could easily be seen as skinny.  As they say a few inches can make all the difference  ;D

If you have a big ass but a small waist like I do  you might have to but bigger clothing to fit you

It's so subjective it's hard to say

Why put a dress size down you have photos

Men have no clue on dress sizes. Seriously none! Can't tell if I blame men for being clueless or stupid vanity sizing in shops.
I'd just go for your average unless you look slimmer than your average size or look bigger.

I have a severely fluctuating dress size, so I left the box blank in stats. I doubt anyone checks them unless looking for sbbws or tiny girls.  Another thing that helps is describing my self not using a dress size in my profile description that way no confusion! I can't think of anything worse than someone showing up and telling me I'm lying about dress size. Up to date photos are what punters are looking for if they have a size or body type in mind.
