Guys from twitter making AW accounts & trying to book
« on: 08 January 2014, 01:11:14 pm »
I have quite a few followers and lately i've had 2 emails from guys saying they've been following me for years and would like to book.. I was wondering how i can know i'll be safe around them as they have no ratings on AW, and obviously as its incall I don't need to ask for their details. Sorry if this is a dumb question i've tried searching but nothing comes up xx

I book clients straight from twitter, google and my blog, I don't have feedback nor do I value the feedback on AW of possible clients, speak with them first and trust you gut.  ;D

Or ask them to get credible feedback first and then see them i know a few who do this and prefer this.

Trusting AW feedback to be useful or informative is at best optimistic and at worst downright dangerous.

Or ask them to get credible feedback first and then see them i know a few who do this and prefer this.

What that sounds like is 'Hello dear person who has decided they want to see me because you've been taking a long term interest in what I have to say, please go and pay to shag someone else so I can see if they're prepared to leave feedback on you...'

There's asking for references because what you're doing is illegal and you want to decrease the chance that they're the police (as in the US) and there's insulting people who want to be your clients... and I'd say that this is the latter.

'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

I think you should get them to phone you and then just trust your instincts, if he doesn't sound right, don't do it. In my opinion, there really isn't a 100% effective way to assure complete safety, you just never know, but trusting your "gut feeling" about something/someone is the best you can do, at least during the initial contact. You'll be amazed by how easy it can be to spot a weirdo/timewaster after you've been doing this for a while!
Yes, I'd risk it for a biscuit, as I said, you know me.

Many ladies here have their own website and take bookings from guys straight from phone and/or email contact. Ask them to phone, apply usual confirmation procedures - phone call at set time and go with your gut.

I'd not recommend relying on twitter messaging for setting up bookings -you need direct contact.

Most of my clients I book through phone contact. AW feedback means nothing to me unless they have a stream of really bad ones. If AW feedback was true all of my clients would be on par to having sex with george clooney!

but will have to learn if I want to make it as a WG!! Did just speak to a guy who sounds sooo lovely though and has 20 good AW ratings, seeing him tomorrow.. for some reason i'm really excited! xxx

I book clients straight from email, phone, text, twitter, forum and aw who dont make booking requests or who have no feedback. We all had no feedback once upon a time. Of course you have to play by your own rules in this game but I have never been attacked. If they sound iffy on the phone then dont take the booking.

I try to bear in mind the amount of shite made up feedback on aw where everyone can lets face it lick each others asses. I have had messages offering an exchange of feedback etc and I say no but someone somewhere will say yes and give a guy good feedback despite never meeting him. You have to go by your own judgement not by what other ladies say. Obviously some bad feedback you just cannot ignore though
