Gumtree checking massage ads
« on: 18 January 2018, 03:11:36 pm »
I saw on a thread that gumtree call to see whether you are offering sexual services but have never encountered this, however not used it for exactly a year but wonder when this policy came into place as how can you let clients who as we know are always just guys know about extras.  Someone says she hints but she knows when it''s Gumtree.  How on earth can you hint?  I used to get good clients from there and it's quick and easy to set up.  I wonder if as gumtree know I'm a sure thing they won't bother calling but fed up as I darent put my ad up.  Know there are other places to advertise massage with extra's but after a hiatus I just want to get up and runnning to start off with asap.  Not sure I could escort again.  Only outcall I reckon

I have been doing massage for weeks now, much better than full service ! Surprisingly you dont even need to offer full service to make good good money

If you put an advert on at gumtree make it look professional with massage atmosphere pictures, mention? no sexual services? and if anyone calls you asking if you provide any extras then best is to say: i don?t discuss the treatments on the phone, best is to discuss it when you are here

My clients said that its what most girls on gumtree say on the phone, but they all offer extras anyway

Depending what city ur working from, adultwork is a good place to advertise, and having your own website + advertising on fbsm forums

Hi, iv advertised on gumtree for two years and when people phone or text saying "what are your services/do you do extras ect" I always say that the one that I advertise is just a straight forward one but if your looking for more of a sensual massage then it's X amount for the hour, I just don't advertise it

Great advice girls. So you haven't had GT call you then? Wouldn't saying you don't discuss it make GT suspicious though or put clients off if they want to know prices? . Yes know about FBSM. Yes, I prefer massage girls

I hadn't thought about them phoning me until I see another thread on here, they might be suspicious but I'm only advertising a straight forward body massage at a low rate on their website not the higher priced sensual one. I'm guessing they can't remove my ad as I tell people when they phone no extras are included in the one I advertise (hope that makes sense!)
It doesn't put clients off as they know they're not going to get any more than just a massage with the price of the one I advertise so I always say I do also offer a sensual massage as well when they ask which they always go for.
I don't offer any more than h/r over the phone to new clients even if they ask if I'd do oral I'd say no but once iv met the client and I'm okay with him then I admit I offer more

Do they actually check up on individual adverts?  Yes, I have seen the previous thread. Bu I do not know the pricing for massage adverts on GT.

I can see why they would do only if they have two separate advertising rates, one for plain massage without HE and one for sensual massage, being more costly. In other words, you would be undercutting their official price by falsely advertising under massage (no HE) when you ALSO offer sensual massage.  Is this the situation?  Guys would expect HE. I'm surprised they would also get oral by paying extra.

I'm not sure if they do check up on individual adverts as I'm not sure if they have done with me.. Yet
They don't have separate rates, it's one set rate for all massage adverts even if you are offering more or are a massage therapist that does not. GT are strict on what you can advertise, they don't allow you to mention any sexual services on your advert so can only let clients know if you do offer more when they contact you.
Guys don't expect h/r with the one I advertise as iv set mine at a low rate (might be different for others?) but are happy to pay more for it and yes they are happy to pay more for oral, most want that too along with full sex some times
Hope that helps

You've been a great help Smurfet hun.  So you wait till the guys arrive then say for instance its ?20 more for H/R.  Think I would  know if GT rang pretending to be a client.  I'm wondering because I've advertised with them before they won't bother me. So to be clear they know if you put no sexual services that there still is.  Guess all I can do is suck it and se, no pun intended, lol

Yes, thank you, Smurfet.   It explains so well :) xx

Yes, I thought you might ask, chicaboo.   I never knew enough about "massage scene" as opposed to escorting scene.   It is quite an eye-opener.   :)

I met someone, who said he used a few places to get "massage".  I asked him what he got for the money.  He said, massage and HE.  What I thought was once you are offering OW/OWO, it's so much like escorting/sexual services.  Does he lie on the couch the whole time during the service if you don't mind asking this?   If so, I can see why escorts would want to switch to offering massage only.

I could see why advertisers would be "concerned" not that I know if this would be the correct phrase.   A few years ago, a similar advertiser banned escort adverts for a while.  I could see that GT would need to be careful in their adverts.  After all, anyone can look at the adverts, including children.

Suck it and see haha  ;D
When people phone I always start off by saying that massage I advertise is just a straight forward Swedish massage but if your looking for more of a sensual one then it's ?20 more for the hour. Im clear and strait with them over the phone as to what their options are so they know what they're getting and how much they need to pay when they arrive.
Iv never put on my ad this is not a sexual service as most guys know it is but I think by being clear when someone contacts you that you are only offering a basic massage in your ad then your ad should be safe because that really is all you are advertising. Anything else you offer is spoken between you and your potential client, you aren't advertising it on their website.
I hope I'm right, that's how iv gone about managing things  :)

Your both welcome and I hope I'm right in my explanation  :)
Yes they do just lie on the couch aha, I usually start off massaging their backs, then back of the legs then under the groin area. Flip them over, tease and massage their balls ect for a bit then bring them to an end. Hands do wander, which I don't mind, not many try to move off the couch during the ending but if they do I gently gesture them to lay back down.
I do give ow/owo plus full sex to only some of my clients but only if they've visited before and I'm okay with them so yes it is going into escorting but I spend most of my days massaging with h/r and going the full way a few times a week if I can which I'm happy with
