I don’t think I’ve ever had one client from there. Are there any areas where it’s essential?
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

Depends what you mean by essential, you ***can*** get a few extra clients from there, but if your rates are even the average for the area you will struggle, so many looking for the cheapest they can get.

I can only speak for the area I used to use Friday Ad for - which is Sussex/South Coast.

This is what I have heard. A lot of older gents who think 100 an hour is too expensive.

Perhaps this stems from it originally being a paper advertising medium. I give enough time to VS where I actually do get bookings but FA is a step too far right now.

It used to generate a lot of business in Surrey/Sussex/Kent it was well known paper for year then online. But seems not to do very well other areas online. Plus i think they want long term ads like a whole month etc no good if you just in a area for a few days.

There has always been cheaper prices nothing new but only difference is back in the day there was no OWO or it was extra for that service but now if a lot expect all in for 100 then those types i would not want to see anyway.

There was still more higher prices in the papers back then and cheaper. Viva is not very good either and a lot avoid that and same for friday ad especially if it is not known in a lot of other parts of the country which it is not. I think it had a loyal following down South East for many years from the paper then online but not taken off other areas very well being online.
