For work purposes (non escorting) I might have to move to London next year or the following, Although not for a while I am trying to get an idea on what size of flat and how much I would need for monthly rental fees.

So for those in London what type of place do you have, do you work from home or have a separate work flat?

If you work from home is it a studio, 1 bed or 2 bed?

Personally I would rather have have a 2 bed 2 bath or even a 3 bed 2 bath but then I am talking ?2500-?3000 at least for a decent place.

I used to live in London but I owned, Ive never rented in London.

Your Q is very broad/general and I dont think you will get the responses that you desire because essentially it boils down to preference vs what you can afford.

Your best bet would be to do some research and find out how much approx. it would be.and then take it from there

I live/work from the same flat and pay about ?400 per week in Central London. I do often wish I had a second room at least so I didn't have to sleep I the same room I work in but it doesn't bother me that much. I don't think I could afford more than what I'm paying and I'm fairly low volume and only see 7-12 clients a week.

I have already looked at prices etc, I was just looking for an idea of what works for others as having always lived in decent sized houses with multiple rooms the thought of a tiny studio is a bit off putting

About 6-9 clients a week would be the most I would be looking to see as the other job would pay my other expenses so this would really just be to cover rent etc.

I hear that. Im similar myself. I cant even live in a flat and if I was to, it would have to be split level.

I guess you already have answered your own Q: you know what type of accommodation you want and you know your budget

I'm not sure what it is you want to know? You don't need us to tell you that London rental is expensive and if you want a huge place to live you'll need a huge amount of money to pay for it, and all the stuff you could ever want to know about relative property sizes and costs can be found easily on RightMove (which I agree is a wonderful place to while away a few hours, but nothing to do with sex work).

If the thought of living somewhere teeny brings you out in a rash then you either stay put or you have to compromise, even if this means working from the bed you sleep in and putting some of your stuff in storage until you settle somewhere else. If there was another answer I'm pretty sure everybody here paying ?500+ per week for what amounts to a room in a poncy postcode would be doing it already.

I was asking if working from a more expensive place with a separate work room is doable in London without having to see 20 guys a week

Right, I see. I would think the answer to that would depend a lot on where in the 600 or so square miles of London you were talking about, and obviously how much you plan on charging when you're there

Do you absolutely have to live in Zone 1/2 central London? Rent would be a lot cheaper on the outskirts, even factoring in tube fares.

The other work would be Central so would've been easier for me if say I had a client after work.

If you're relying on evening bookings I'd steer clear of the City/EC area, since most people have bogged off home by six. There's definitely evening bookings there, but I wouldn't want to be dependent on them for my rent.

Assuming your other job covers all your other expenses (and we've gone over this in previous similar threads, so I know you know the drill by now.

), I'd think you should be able to get a 2 bed (albeit one that would fit in it's entirety inside my living room) for ?2.5-?3K a month, so that would be 25-30 punters at ?100 or roughly ten a week three weeks of the month. I don't know whether that sounds realistic or not, but if you're working a full time day job it would be more than I would want to be arsed with.

Looked at some of the areas in Outer London (Havering, Harrow & Hounslow for now) but looking at a lot of the profiles it seems to mostly be ?70-?80 an hour types.
